@SteveTransform @PiersGibbon @Paracelsus1092 Not tobacco, and only speculation that this was a drug delivery spoon :-) Usual method then would be drinking (eg mugwort beer) or perhaps incense burning

@PiersGibbon @Paracelsus1092 Yeah - don't think itd be cannabis (you can snort THC powder - ppl have tried to sell that as a coke-like product, but not unprocessed herbal). Could be something else though - tobacco like rapē perhaps, but don't think that was in Europe then. @MikeJayNet ?
