He isn’t wrong. In college baseball you’re expected to lift, throw, long toss, and practice/play everyday of the fall. It works for college guys. That’s when they gain the most strength/weight and make their biggest baseball gains of the year. #PROCESS

When I hear a player isn’t playing fall baseball, I genuinely question how much he enjoys playing baseball. And I can’t help but question who’s giving him that advice. If you want to get better at playing baseball, play baseball. A few exceptions: football, arm injury issues, young kids, etc. College baseball players play fall, spring and summer. Again, there’s exceptions, but I’m hearing WAY TOO many stories about kids “taking the fall off to train”. You SHOULD be training and getting stronger AND playing. It’s not an either/or situation.
