I'm not gonna argue wit niggas who refuse to watch fire force because of Tamaki, but I AM gonna say that I find the idea of Adolla being an alternate dimension where all peoples's perceptions of reality manifest, and that that dimension intersects spontaneously with our world causing those conceptions to spill into reality is REALLY fucking cool, and how this applies to her character is actually pretty interesting TO ME. Like think about Tamaki's "special ability" in the way Haumea's ability is explained. The idea that all of humanity's evil and intrusive thoughts play in her head 24/7. Think of that happening to Tamaki but locally, physically instead of in her head, only the lustful thoughts about her, and only for a moment -- such that Tamaki is linked to Adolla in a way that causes nearby peoples' perceptions of her to trigger LITERAL REALITY WARPS. Example - Tamaki walks up to someone and for .1 seconds they have the intrusive thought of "damn I wanna touch some tiddy" and then BOOM! Reality basically bends her tiddy into their hand. That's essentially what happens, especially when you consider that her "ability" is WAY more likely to activate around certain people. I think the self-insert 7 year old kid is anvil-handed but I cannot lie to you it was too fucking funny for me to care. Like, to even conceive of such a way to say something in an anime is kinda fuckin beast mode 😂 My only real gripe with Tamaki's ability's explanation is that it would have been more intriguing if she was a pillar (the pillar of lust or somethin like that), or if she'd ever experienced an Adolla Link like how Joker and Burns have experienced links despite not being pillars. Cuz even if this was always planned, this explanation definitely feels like it came to Ohkubo in a dream about 5 chapters before he wrote it. And I think more people would forgive Tamaki's "ability" if they could read it as being the parody that it so obviously is... I'm not entirely sure why so many people take it so seriously? Also... *pushes glasses directly into solar plexus* a lot of the comments as well as the general sentiment from this cohort of puritans who can't handle this show and its measly 0.4 boobas per capita kinda do nothing but help to prove the point of le ebic 7 year old author insert about mob mentality. ;3
