@minimalnerd1 Absolutely not. I think this tint, with transparency, absolutely destroys the effect. It looks like it’s dirty or something. It’s really not good!

@OutofGalaxyy Still run my 14 Pro on iOS 16. The dynamic island just feels so much better.
English

Frfr not even Apple themselves can match their own level of execution anymore. Crazy.

Many have tried to replicate the Dynamic Island, but no one has matched Apple’s level of execution. 🎥: Hoang Tech

@ravikiran_dev7 Sir this wrong, Mac book is an operating system not a laptop brand.....
U misunderstand operating system and hardware ware brand

@DerouauxCarlo @bradybydesign You know you can just drag apps off the dock to remove them, right?
English

@bradybydesign It doesn’t. Wallpaper is ass, dock is overcrowded with useless apps and the menu bar looks horrible too.
English

@DennisPrempeh4 @avstorm I know that this shortcut exists, still won’t give up my standpoint.
The implementation is much worse now. Imagine you want to paste or copy text from the search bar…
Also, a hidden gesture many users may never discover is infinitely worse than something that’s instantly clear
English

@NickWeb96802468 @avstorm Tap the search button twice the search bar and the keyboard will appear, no need to stretch or reach the search bar at the top before typing
English

@Mustayayy @avstorm This is literally regression to iOS 18 (and earlier) ways of UI design. This is terrible and just doesn’t look well implemented.
English

@avstorm Bad decision!
They made tones of bad design decisions in new beta 🚶🏻♂️
English

@avstorm Oh and one of them is ON THE TOP of the display so you have to bend your hand if you want to reach it, the other is perfectly within the thumbs range of motion.
English

@avstorm Both of these worked exactly the same, except one looks like a lacklustrely implemented version from iOS 18 and the other one is well designed within the context of Liquid Glass.
I seriously don’t get the switch from Apple‘s side. The combined version is objectively the worse.
English

@aravarora_ Absolutely love it! Always use it in the car for music controls (because of course apple couldn’t manage to give the Music app a landscape mode up until 27)
English

@applefiles_ This tint on the clear option is just abysmal, I can’t lie
English

@durreadan01 Now I’m getting kinda worried about the fact that mine only took like 3 hours for this message to get away when all of you guys have it for multiple days. Did it actually do it properly?
English

@aaronp613 This was such an overdue feature, and I’m so glad they finally added it.
English

I feel like people often forget that you can’t get more transparent then that. What you should be able to do, however, is to reduce the dark/white tint to make it appear more translucent.
Apple really fumbled that slider. They actually did it…
Sami Fathi@SamiFathi_
I need this slider to go even further down. I need more glassiness!
English

@AnonymousGuy147 @app_settings For some reason the first image darkened after posting lol
English

@AnonymousGuy147 @app_settings I really like taking 26.0 beta 1 as an example here, because I think it had just enough tint to achieve readability benefits, whilst also staying true to the liquid glass effect.

@Haezrach_I @LuftkoppTim Already have submitted feedback as well. It’s not that I hate the idea per se, because they don’t look that bad when looked at great scale in high resolution, but from a distance the converging lines make them really displeasing to the eye.
English

They look so ugly makes me wanna cry. I’m submitting a feedback, I hope people will do the same:
Please refine the new icons to have gradients again, both on background and on the glyph, and have light cast based on gyro like on iOS 26. Messages, mail, passwords and weather looks like cardboard theme on colorOS. It looks flat, cheap, and I can seriously barely even look at it. Not kidding this small thing might drive me to pixel for the first time in my life. At least give us the option to iOS 26-like icons when we slide the Liquid Glass slide all the way to the clear look.
English

they look way sharper but somehow flatter?

First look at the redesigned Liquid Glass icons in iOS 27 compared to the current icons. #WWDC26 Which one do you prefer?
