For the next 6 months, I'll be taking a break from my Ph.D. to focus full-time on AI safety. I haven't settled on what I'll be working on but I have lots of ideas and some exciting opportunities.

I keep thinking about last night. It was the most humanity-affirming moment that as each tweep was fired, we all posted a 🫡. Then we laughed and rejoiced in the decency and kindness of friends. What a sendoff, Twitter.

So many feels seeing the praise of the Twitter META team as this chapter comes to a close I want to particularly recognize @naz_erkan who conspired with @__lucab to start the whole thing Thank you Naz for all the unseen labor that made space for this team to ultimately flourish
