@JeffreyParson My understanding is this is because 5a/6a attendance is down.. Fine.. Don’t mess up 1a-4a.. Kids dream about making it to state and playing at Hutch or Kstate etc. Now you make it to state and don’t even get the experience of playing at the state location unless you win a game!

GPHS Single game record holder for most points in a game. Bob Renner came back home to be honored at halftime of the boys game. Bob was Qb and punter of the 1970 Wichita State Shockers. Bob and fellow GP alum John Hoheisel both survived the Gold Plane.

*NEW SCHOOL RECORD* Cooper Eck recently broke the Garden Plain record of 3FGM in a single season. The previous record (50) was set in 2015-16 by Alex Mannebach (Class of 2018). Cooper currently sits at 54 3FGM with seven regular season games remaining.
