I’m frequently disappointed in politicians but Tom Massie defied the odds in my unfortunate experiences with him, as he surpassed my lowest expectations. This zero pretends to be a principled defender of liberty but, in the real world, he supports third-world tyranny. Here are the receipts from a phone call I had with this zero offering him a briefing on multiple investigations he was inserting himself into by publicly commenting on them. Rather than affording the subjects of the cases their constitutional Right to due process, Massie chose to waive off the briefing and litigate it on X for clicks. Notice I tried to call him back but he wasn’t interested in facts. It’s also of note that I never heard a single word from Massie during the process we engaged in to release the Epstein case docs. This process played out in media everywhere and yet Massie never reached out. Not once. It’s almost as if he wants to be a moron. As if ignorance is bliss for him. I’m horrified I once believed this guy was authentic.

Yikes. The U.S. hiring rate fell to 3.1% in February, the lowest since April 2020. This is a hiring recession. And Americans are feeling it. There were notable hiring pullbacks in February in hospitality and construction. Bottom line: The job market was already frozen before the war in Iran began. It's worrying that a "no hire, no fire" situation could turn into a "no hire, start to fire" job market quickly if there isn't a resolution soon.

The Post and Courier have confirmed a major part of her story - the identity and background of Jimmy Atkins, the other man she accused of assaulting her alongside Epstein and Trump. Atkins was a real estate professional and former educator who moved to Hilton Head in the mid-1980s, took over Harbour Realty and Rentals, matched her descriptions of his age/hair color/appearance, and had ties to an Ohio trade school/college. He died in 2003. Her mother's role as a real estate broker on Hilton Head (including connections to properties where Epstein allegedly rented) and her later embezzlement conviction, which the woman linked to alleged blackmail/extortion involving photos. These details were previously unverified publicly and they add local corroboration to elements of her account about life on Hilton Head around 1984 (when she was 13 and attending Hilton Head High School).
