We recently undertook a major piece of research to understand the experiences of those using beneficial ownership data. In revisiting this research, we have identified 22 features to make data more usable. Take a look at our working paper above to find out more.

As #BeneficialOwnership reforms are further recognised as key in tackling illicit financial flows and mobilising domestic revenues, the AfBOT Network is exploring how to drive and sustain effective implementation and impactful use of beneficial ownership registers across Africa.

The event brings together 16 member countries and several international partners to reflect on recent progress on BOT reforms from across the continent, share practical insights to tackle common challenges, and explore what the future should look like.
