I really like this guy.

Spanberger’s poll numbers are in the dumpster. Spanberger is attacking VA’s #2A rights. Spanberg is cheating by using a loophole so non-residence can vote. Spanberger has gone back to sanctuary city policies. Just like Spanberger lied to get elected, she is lying now.

The President and his allies are talking about taxes that our state legislature never even voted on and I certainly didn't sign. Why? Because if they don't flood the zone with fake news about fake taxes, people might hear about the bills I am signing to lower energy costs, strengthen our schools, make housing more affordable, and bring billions of dollars of business investment to Virginia.

As Governor, I know I cannot control global energy markets, or the price of eggs, or whatever the president decides to post on social media.
But there are tangible steps we are taking right now to tackle high costs where Virginians feel them most: healthcare, energy, and housing.
On healthcare, I signed bipartisan bills to prevent insurance companies from overruling doctors, to invest in our health care workforce, and to stop predatory middlemen from driving up the cost of prescription drugs.
On energy, I signed bipartisan bills to protect ratepayers from covering the cost of infrastructure improvements, incentivize energy independence, and help localities invest in new energy technologies.
On housing, I signed bipartisan bills to let localities adopt affordable housing programs, cut red tape, and incentivize construction.
These bills — like so many of the others I have signed — were passed with support from Democrats and Republicans alike. Because nobody asks for your political party affiliation when you’re filling a prescription, signing a lease, or paying a monthly utility bill.

The President and MAGA has to lie because they know Virginia proves that you can tackle affordability and get things done for people if you prioritize it. And you can do it while protecting democracy and working together.
The President only helps himself. We help people.
