@PPCGreg Should both parts be actually clickable in the ad?

came across this earlier which I don't think I've seen before. I think what it's saying is Google may charge you twice for the same user, clicking on different parts of your ad (presumably to open in a new tab) on 1 impression.

@BorisBeceric yeah I guess if you haven't linked all the accounts, this would be a way to do it. *or you're using some analytic tool that doesn't integrate well with Ads

why would an agency pass their client's customer id through with UTMs? Is there something you could do with that?

@JemBourouhDE lol no I blurred the last digit out... so unless you requested all 10 possible variations. .. but let me know if you get access. Feel like someone spinning up a DefinitelyGoogleSupport@gmail.com email and sending access might actually be granted it.

Wow is Google Ads Editor ever SLOW this morning. It's been downloading recent changes for the last 15 minutes. It's a big account but usually only takes 3-4 minutes to download

hat tip to Nils Rooijmans (subscribe to his newsletter here nilsrooijmans.com/newsletter/) for sharing Holger Schulz's Usability Booster for Google Ads chrome extension !Can auto dismiss recommendations! usability-booster.com/?__s=apujwcocy…
Greg Finn@gregfinn

Looking to remove those pesky Google Ads Recommendations in a quicker fashion? If you have the @GoogleAds app, you can dismiss (many of the) recommendations without needing to fill out the required 'provide feedback' inputs on desktop. A huge timesaver for agencies! #ppcchat

@Dcdigitalpro @adsliaison Curious about this also - or is this showing there wasn't any invalid activity from January?

@adsliaison did they remove adjustments for over delivery from the billing activity and invoice section in the ads portal? Can’t find the $5,000+ of adjustments made in Nov2025… Yet it’s in the app billing… #ppcchat -> something doesn’t seem right…

Tweeting this so that I can reference it in 5 years when the discovery in a class action lawsuit shows their engineers were intentionally slowing down the platform as a way to deter advertisers from making optimizations. 📆 Call it Project SearchSuppressionShare or DiversionRate

@GoogleAds has been unbearably slow for so long that I'm beginning to believe it's intentional.

YOOO WTF Is THIS!?!?!?!?!?! : "The platform is moving toward several mandatory shifts—specifically around AI Max transitions and new Data Manager API requirements—that will fundamentally change how automation functions across the network." A Google Rep Just Sent Us An Email (About An Account We Dont Manage, Of Course LOL) But The Email Is WILD!!!!! It Also Does Not Have The Diclaimer Message At The Bottom So Im Publicly Sharing It. Here Is What The Full Email Says: [2026 Platform Roadmap: Structural Shifts Affecting (business) Hi Team, I hope your week is off to a great start! My name is ---, and I am a part of Google Customer Solutions team. I’m reaching out to introduce myself and to ensure we’re prepared for several significant structural updates hitting the Google Ads platform this quarter. The platform is moving toward several mandatory shifts—specifically around AI Max transitions and new Data Manager API requirements—that will fundamentally change how automation functions across the network. I’d like to schedule a quick sync to walk you through this 2026 roadmap so your strategy remains ahead of the curve. While we're on the call, it would be a natural time to pull up your agency's portfolio to ensure these platform-wide changes are mapped correctly against your specific active setups. I know your schedule is likely busy as we kick off the new year, so please let me know which of the following works best for you: A: Let's connect. I'll: book a quick meeting here to discuss the 2026 platform roadmap and your account B: I'm tied up at the moment; please email over the platform update summary and initial notes for the portfolio. Looking forward to working with you] Does Anyone Know What This Means? Its From A wxf Rep, So Cant Be Like Real Real, Right?
