My baby, Xienny the cat, passed away this morning in her sleep. She was 18 years old and provided love and friendship to me and my mom for 10 years. I was so lucky to have spent time with her and she was amazing. Lasting 6+ more years than what the vets at the shelter expected her to when we rescued her. Over the past month it was clear that her time was coming soon but she held on and tried to keep going until the end which allowed for me and my mom to accept the realities of everything slowly even though we cried and felt our hearts sink multiple times. Xienny will always be loved and I will never forget her and the moments we had. Thank you Xienny @mikasa4231 @JasusTD89 @JuliaSassybaker

@LPNH If America was a holy roman empire style "nation" with regional kings (smaller than states, maybe 100 of them instead of 50) and one elected monarch the world would be a better place.

I in fact do not “trust the plan,” especially when the exact plan is never coherently articulated. The idea that we should reserve criticism of our elected leaders on the vague assumption that there must be some sort of “plan” that we mere mortals don’t understand is just embarrassing. How did “trusting the plan” work during COVID? How has it ever worked?
