A very nervous-sounding Sen. Ruben Gallego says he heard rumors of Eric Swalwell being “flirty” for years.

@CraigHarrisNews Far higher than the ESA misspending rate. You’re comparing two different categories. And you haven’t even said what 8.8% is in dollars, but you routinely do with ESA

The connection: Az, like all states, must lower SNAP error rate or face big $$ penalties. Az rate is 8.8% -- far lower than the % of ESA parents who have misused funds -- but it must be brought to 6 % Otherwise, Az general fund faces $195.4M hit for SNAP benefits in 2028.

@CraigHarrisNews @grok explain to Craig how the ESA program and SNAP are not connected or overlapping.

@CraigHarrisNews @grok What you're doing is providing two completely different numbers, and letting the audience, who you know will, make the connection themselves. This is a complete farce. You'll then hide behind the guise of "I never said that" or "I never made that connection". MSM is trash.

@CraigHarrisNews @grok please explain to me how Craig is making this connection, and why it's wrong. He uses rate for SNAP but percentage for ESA. This is obviously a biased tactic.

Only in Arizona: The deepest cuts in America when it comes to Food Stamps for the poor, while education vouchers -- that primarily benefit upper-income families -- skyrocket with parents buying iPhones, big-screen TVs and paying themselves. 12news.com/article/news/l…

Tonight only on @12news: We examine how 180,000 Arizona kids have been removed from Arizona's Food Stamp program since last summer as 20 percent of ESA parents misspent $10 million on luxury items like $1,500 gift cards, electric dirt bikes and sexually explicit items.

Yes, the 400,000 total individuals removed from Arizona's SNAP program includes the 180,000 children under 18. That leaves roughly 220,000 adults—often parents or guardians in those households—whose eligibility changes (like income increases, missed recertification, or work requirement failures) typically trigger the full household disqualification under the program's rules.

According to reports from the Arizona Department of Economic Security and the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, more than 400,000 Arizonans have been removed from the SNAP program since July 2025—the largest percentage drop in the nation at nearly 47%. This includes about 180,000 children under 18. The decline stems from Arizona's implementation of new federal eligibility and administrative requirements under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed last year. The state agency cited swift rollout of these changes amid underfunding as a key factor. In general, people are removed from SNAP for reasons like income rising above limits, household changes, failing to recertify eligibility, not meeting work requirements, or incomplete paperwork.

@CraigHarrisNews @zebraonice @12News It doesn't matter what the parents make to obtain ESA. If their kids are pulled out of public school, that counts. What matters is the oversight. Which, I agree we need to review and have checks/balances. However, when people call to abolish it entirely, that's a non-starter.
