Google/OpenAI paid Reddit $60M to train AI models. Reddit Is Now the #1 Most Cited Platform in AI Search, driving 40% of all AI Citations. But here's the problem most brands don't understand: Reddit isn't just another social platform. It's an anti-marketing machine with a zero-tolerance policy for self-promotion. Over the past 3 months, I've helped dozens of brands build legitimate presence on Reddit without getting shadow banned. Here's the exact playbook I use with our customers: Weeks 1-2: BUILD CREDIBILITY Comment only (no posts yet) → Target 3-5 niche subreddits → Earn 200-500 karma → Answer questions without mentioning your product Weeks 3-4: STRATEGIC POSITIONING Create 1-2 "industry resource" posts → Format: Comparisons, data analysis, or problem breakdowns → Mention your solution as ONE option, not the only one → Be honest about limitations Weeks 5-6: SCALE ENGAGEMENT Set up monitoring → Respond to competitor mentions → Join problem-specific discussions → Use pattern: "X is great for Y, but for Z consider [your tool]" Weeks 7-8: OPTIMIZE FOR AI CITATIONS Track which posts get cited by AI Platforms → Double down on those formats → Structure content with headers and lists → Cross-post to related subreddits THE 80/20 RULE: → 80% pure value, zero promotion → 20% contextual product mentions At @Pierviewai, we analyze thousands of Reddit discussions each day to highlight which discussions mention your brand, your competitors, and your high value keywords, so you can chime into those discussions to improve your brand presence and generate warm leads. Comment "Reddit" and I'll offer you a month's free trial of our "Reddit Analyzer" feature.

Google Analytics doesn't track AI traffic by default. Your website is being visited by AI in 2 ways: - AI bots crawling your site (GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot) - Real humans clicking through from AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) And Google Analytics doesn't track either one by default. Here's how to fix it: Step 1: Create a Custom Channel in GA4 → Go to Admin → Click Data Display > Channel Groups → Click "Create New Channel Group" → Name it: "AI Traffic" Step 2: Define Your AI Channel → Click "Add New Channel" → Channel name: AI Traffic → Add condition: - Dimension: Session source - Match type: matches regex - Value: Paste this regex: .*chatgpt\.com.*|.*perplexity.*|.*claude\.ai.*|.*gemini\.google\.com.*|.*copilot\.microsoft\.com.*|.*openai\.com.*|.*meta\.ai.*|.*mistral\.ai.*|.*you\.com.* Step 3: Position It Correctly → Click "Reorder" → Drag "AI Traffic" above "Referral" → This ensures AI traffic gets categorized before falling into generic referral bucket Step 4: View Your AI Traffic → Go to Reports > Acquisition > Traffic Acquisition → Change the dimension dropdown to your custom channel group → You'll now see "AI Traffic" as its own channel What you'll discover: ✓ Which AI platforms send you traffic (ChatGPT vs Perplexity vs Claude) ✓ Which landing pages AI users engage with most ✓ How AI traffic converts vs Google search ✓ Session duration and engagement rates from AI visitors If you're not tracking it, you're missing you're missing one of your highest-converting channel. Comment "REGEX" if you want the extended list of all AI platforms.

Why AI Search Is Growing 52% But Still Won't Save You @ChatGPTapp referrals grew 52% year-over-year in 2025. Sounds promising, right? Wrong. Even with that "explosive growth," ChatGPT still accounts for less than 0.1% of publisher traffic. Meanwhile, @Google search traffic dropped 33% globally. Let me do the math for you: → Lost: 33% of your biggest traffic source → Gained: 0.1% from AI platforms That's not a transition. That's a massacre. Here's what's actually happening: AI search platforms are answering questions directly. Users aren't clicking through. Traffic is evaporating into the zero-click void. And while everyone's celebrating ChatGPT's "growth," they're missing the bigger picture: Traffic isn't shifting from Google to ChatGPT. It's disappearing. So what's the solution? Stop chasing traffic. Start chasing citations. Because in 2026, the question isn't "Can you drive traffic?" It's "Does AI even mention you when someone asks about solutions in your space?" If the answer is no, you don't have a traffic problem. You have a visibility problem. Solve that!

Last week, @OpenAI announced it's introducing ads in @ChatGPTapp. In August last year, when we were building the first prototype of @Pierviewai, at a dinner, I'd told @opeawo and @SunilSharmaCo that there are indicators @OpenAI could introduce ads by mid 2026, and they launched it already. But, this doesn't change the way customers consume organic content. Organic citations are completely independent of paid placements, i.e. - AI models won't know which ads are broadcasted, so ads won't influence its answers. Rightfully so. Paid distribution will give you the speed. It's like a 100m race. You can experiment quickly, double down on what works, and scale. Organic strategy is like a marathon, you're crafting evergreen content, which will help you build thought leadership, and generate higher value, stickier customers. When @ChatGPTapp ads roll out, the first movers will benefit, as there will be fewer advertisers, cheaper inventory, and prime visibility. But relying on paid ads alone is a mistake. Consumers are looking at @ChatGPTapp for guidance, not a pitch. That’s where organic presence inside AI answers becomes critical. Brands that are referenced naturally, without paying, carry more authority. As paid placements start to dominate AI responses, organic citations become more powerful. So what’s the move? Start investing in organic AI visibility now. Publish content that AI systems trust and pull from. Participate in real conversations on Reddit, Inc. Get included in industry write-ups, benchmarks, and comparison pages. Build the signals that make AI recommend you by default. Use paid for momentum, and organic for trust. This combination will win. At @Pierviewai, we've been betting on ads in AI Search from Day 1, and we're already building an "Ads Analyzer", to help our customers understand - Who’s paying to show up? Who’s earning mentions? Where's the whitespace? We're building for a world where organic and paid build off of each other. Paid gets you seen. Organic gets you believed. The future belongs to brands that do both.

In the coming weeks, we plan to start testing ads in ChatGPT free and Go tiers. We’re sharing our principles early on how we’ll approach ads–guided by putting user trust and transparency first as we work to make AI accessible to everyone. What matters most: - Responses in ChatGPT will not be influenced by ads. - Ads are always separate and clearly labeled. - Your conversations are private from advertisers. - Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers will not have ads.

We rebuilt our entire website based on one thing: Your Frustration. For the last 6 months, we asked every customer, and prospect one question: “What’s the most frustrating part about understanding AI search visibility?” The answer was almost universal: “It feels like a black box. I don’t know what to fix, or if my work even matters.” That clarity became our blueprint. We didn’t just redesign our website. We restructured how we think about AI visibility. Today, we’re launching the new pierview.ai. It’s not just a fresh coat of paint. It’s a complete rehaul, built to turn that frustration into a clear action plan. Our new site reflects what we’ve learnt building alongside 100+ marketers: 👉 AI Search isn’t about ranking pages 👉 It’s about being retrievable, credible, and cite-worthy 👉 Most brands are still optimizing for yesterday’s rules If you’re a marketer or founder wondering: “Why doesn’t my brand show up in AI answers?” You’re not behind. You’re just early. We built this for you. To make the complex world of AI Search Optimization feel navigable, actionable, and less lonely. If you're not tracking your brand's AI visibility yet, comment "Pierview" below, and I'll offer you our Enterprise plan (worth $500) ABSOLUTELY FREE for 1 month, to dip your toes into the world of GEO (generative engine optimization). Let's get your brand to rank higher in AI Search with @Pierviewai 🚀

Most brands think they’re optimizing for AI Search. They’re NOT. They’re just doing SEO… with new buzzwords. After helping 100+ marketers get visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc. here’s what we see repeatedly 👇 ❌ Myth #1: Ranking #1 on Google = AI visibility → Reality: AI doesn’t care about your SERP position. It cares about trust + retrievability. ❌ Myth #2: Publishing more content increases AI mentions → Reality: AI prefers clear, answerable, structured content - not volume. ❌ Myth #3: AI citations are random → Reality: They’re driven by consistent signals: authority, clarity, and factual density. ❌ Myth #4: GEO = SEO rebranded → Reality: GEO is about being cited inside answers, not clicked from links. The biggest unlock? Stop writing for algorithms. Start writing so AI can understand, extract, and trust your brand. If your brand isn’t showing up in AI answers yet, it’s not a failure. It’s a signal you’re optimizing for the wrong game. #AISearch #GEO #SEO

🚨 @Google + @Apple just made GEO non-negotiable. @GeminiApp now powers Siri and Apple Intelligence. That's billions of iPhone users getting AI answers, and Gemini is the decision layer. Next time you ask a question on your iPhone, here's what Gemini will do: 1. Dissect and figure out what the question really means 2. Look for sources it already trusts 3. Give one clean answer If your website/brand: 1. Is technically optimized for AI Search bots 2. Has targeted prompt focused content 3. Is clear about what it does 4. Content is optimized for LLMs 5. Is consistently referenced across the web 👉 you get mentioned in AI answers. If not? LLMs will skip you, because you’re brand is unclear or hard to validate. AI Search isn’t about “ranking pages.” It’s about AI asking: Who do I feel safe recommending? @Pierviewai's "Optimize Existing Content" feature points out the gaps in your existing blogs, optimizes the content for LLMs and refreshes it every 90 days, so your content stays evergreen and you get cited more often. Here's an example of a recent article from @rhobusiness, the AI SEO Content score for this article is 55% (>90% is ideal). Drop your website, and I'll run a free audit for your blog/articles, and point out the gaps over DM.

2025 has been a transformational year. What started as a simple question from @DicksonNsofor in the summer, turned into a research project and eventually laid the foundation for @Pierviewai. “How can we get @thekorahq to rank higher on @ChatGPTapp?” As a growth marketer, I was well versed with SEO strategies - keywords, content, backlinks, technical architecture, etc.. But, the question was, how do we replicate that for AI Search platforms? It wasn’t about ranking in blue links anymore, it was about getting featured in AI recommendations. So, I started digging in, deployed the content and technical updates, and in a few weeks, I was able to get @thekorahq mentioned in ChatGPT. That’s when I thought, if I could do this manually for one company, can I build a platform and take it to others? That’s how Pierview was born. The year marked many firsts - first investor check, first revenue, first inbound signup from a @ycombinator portfolio company, first testimonial. These little moments are the most precious ones in a founder’s journey, they give the motivation and energy to continue hustling. Thank you to our early believers - investors and customers, we respect the trust you've placed in @Pierviewai, and promise to keep delivering value. The AI Search landscape is evolving every day and there’s so much to look forward to in 2026. There will be challenges, but I couldn’t be more excited to take them head on. Onwards and Upwards 🚀
