Proud new PI moment this week…TWO of my Honors undergrad students got research grants for next year!! They both had to write proposals that we worked on together. I get $1,500 for each of them ($3,000 total) & they get a nice stipend to work in the lab for the year 🥳

The last of the incubators have arrived!! Can’t wait to set up the larval rigs in them. First, I really need to decide on their names 🥳

@KayserLab Haha, right now they’re “Left” & “Right” but I’m trying to decide what the theme will be. I’ll eventually have like 9 total incubators including small ones, dual chambers & standard ones

The lab finally has incubators!! It was a real adventure getting them into the lab 😬 but I’m glad they’re here. I have 2 more coming in a few weeks 🥳

The lab is really coming along after one semester!! Incubators, microscopes, & a technician are all coming in January! 🥳
