@YorkshireCCC Five over game, starts at 9PM, no refunds. Cheers.

We are unable to communicate an update on a potential start time for the #ENGvPAK Men’s IT20 tonight, until we have match officials and umpires on site to inspect.
For this match there is a 30-minute provision of extra time available to facilitate a five over game.
English

🏴🇵🇰 Weather Watch: The rain has been falling heavily for a while. Puddles are forming.
There is no update from the umpires yet.
We understand the frustration, all the Club can do is update on the conditions so you can make informed decisions.

@KaylanGeekie Every tweet of yours is either unhappy, a criticism, a moan or something gloating about saffer rugby.
English

@shanebacon Needs to eliminate the big miss to the right with his long irons and fairways when under pressure but definitely could be. Gilmores caddy will be no1 first

The golf from Bay Hill the last 30 minutes or so has been truly miserable. Morikawa bottoming out. Rory stinking. Fleetwood made a 10.
Cam Young, Ludvig, Tom Kim, Cantlay, all out side the top 40 in a 69 player field.
Another shocking week of mediocrity so far from a lot of the tour's biggest stars.
English

@TheGolfDivoTee Pretty certain he had 2 fairway woods and a 1 iron that was interchangeable
English

@Alex4D Interesting. That sounds like convergence being baked in and discord between lens/sensor/IA/convergence and not an alignment or rotation issue which although difficult to fix - is more fixable than an incorrect convergence baked in to a scene
English

@Alex4D That’s a bit non specific with 3D. I reckon it’s something more to do with the convergence being baked in for some shots and not others which will be hard to spot without a really keen eye
English

A 3D expert told me that the 3D in Scorsese’s ‘Hugo’ wasn’t shot correctly. The person hired for their 3D experience didn’t have enough.
How does ‘Hugo’ look in #AppleVisionPro?
Azad Balabanian@Azadux
Watching 3d movies on Vision Pro has unfortunately made me notice lots of little depth imperfections in modern 3d converted movies details like hair strands, particles, bumpy rocks are all too detailed to really be rotoscoped and depth mapped properly Makes films like Avatar and some animated movies that are natively shot in 3D truly stand out

@lad_golf @StaffisGod @burtisbeller @NoLayingUp According to who, and why?
Point stands - Hogan and others have done it in the past, not moaned and won anyway.
English

@PollenStudio @StaffisGod @burtisbeller @NoLayingUp Yet they’re both more accurate at ranking players than the OWGR…
Yorkshire and The Humber, England 🇬🇧 English

@lad_golf @StaffisGod @burtisbeller @NoLayingUp This isn’t denigrating LIV, it’s at times a fun product - but it isn’t anything like a format for competitive golf as we’ve ever known it before.
English

@PollenStudio @StaffisGod @burtisbeller @NoLayingUp Well.....

(There are others as well..)
English

@lad_golf @StaffisGod @burtisbeller @NoLayingUp How do you make it accurate for a no cut, closed tour, closed tournament over 54 holes?
English

@StaffisGod @burtisbeller @NoLayingUp Ironically, we can, or we could - if the OWGR was accurate - but it's not. Go figure.🤨

Possible: Apple announces that the way to film 180° 3D 8K immersive video for the #AppleVisionPro is with a new camera from Blackmagic.
So the recommended workflow means using DaVinci Resolve.

How to talk about @NABShow without mentioning #NABShow “Canon: No Currently Available Camera is High-Res Enough for Apple Vision Pro” petapixel.com/2024/03/01/can… #AppleVisionPro immersive video is 180º 3D video - 8K for each eye.

@miss_katesmith Just don’t think they are aware of the subtle differences, nor equipped with the skill to differentiate in interview or budget to compensate. Museums have been body slammed every year for decades with funding cuts and covid has helped the government take even more away
English

@miss_katesmith Museum world is blessed with tiny amounts of funding and the work is likely to be social media production and some exhibit based interviews. It’s sad because the productions probably used to be out for procurement for small companies but would be very competitive and low budget
