Jonathan, the worlds oldest known living land animal, is an Aldabra tortoise born around 1832. He's lived on Saint Helena since 1882, he is 192 years old in 2025! Blind, no sense of smell but sharp hearing, he loves cabbage, carrots, and sunbathing with pals Emma and Fred. SOME MORE FUN FACTS ABOUT HIM. • Jonathan is a Seychelles tortoise, and weighed 337 lbs (153 kg) in 2022, measuring about 3,9 feet (1.2 meters) long. • Hes survived two world wars, the Industrial Revolution, and 39 U.S. presidents! • Despite his age, hes still active in his own way, though he mostly takes it easy. His caretakers say he has a strong personality and enjoys attention from visitors.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to be open about my health, when I do my best to be open about things we are shamed into hiding. It’s taken a lot to admit I need support to be mobile, but @neowalksticks and the lovely community around them have helped me allow myself this support!
