HOW TO IMPROVE AS A TRADER All of trading comes down to this simple statistical formula EV = (Win rate * size of winner) - ({1-win rate} * size of loser) As long as your trades are +EV, your edge will play out over a large enough sample size Here’s an exercise you should do

@JamesonCamp @iamfra5er I ran into a similar issue recently. How do you bridge the gap if it’s so big between what the seller thinks it’s worth vs real market value? Or did you walk away?

@JamesonCamp @iamfra5er Nice find, I didn’t think with an Ebitda that high a business would only ask 2.5x multiple. Or is that only the cash portion and then there’s an equity roll, earn out or some type of seller note?

@JamesonCamp @iamfra5er That's interesting, what niche is this in? Do you think it'll survive with CTR % dropping in organic search because of AI?

for sure my actual bet is more brand and video content. that's really where most big brands are pushing these days. they're becoming their own studios. I think there's a huge opportunity there doesn't hurt that the site has about 270,000 youtube subscribers as well and does over a million visits a month

@PhantomStays Which fintech bank are you planning to use? And is a resident agent the right move for an address?

Just wrapped a call with a young Canadian 🇨🇦 ecom founder spending $20k/mo in ads, about to scale. He's routing everything through his personal CA Amex Cobalt. Classic Canadian trap as follows: He's bleeding margin on every US supplier payment through FX conversion fees, but that's not even the real issue. The knife in the gut? Canadian credit card points are worth roughly 50% of US points. Top airlines transfers at 1:2 in Canada versus 1:1 in the US. He's basically earning half-value points on every dollar spent. We're flipping the entire setup in the next 8 weeks. First step is establishing a US LLC in Wyoming immediately, getting him access to the actual banking and credit infrastructure. Since he already has that Amex relationship up north, we're using Global Transfer to port his history south. Instead of waiting 12 months to build US credit from scratch, we'll have approvals in 2-3 months. The target stack is simple but powerful: US Amex Business Gold for unlimited 4x points on his ad spend, backed by Chase Sapphire Business Reserve for 3x coverage. That's the foundation. But here's where it gets tactical. US banks are strict on KYC they'll reject PO boxes instantly. He needs a real residential address, verified through a legal service or trusted US contact, before he can even apply. Once the EIN drops in about two weeks, we transition his Shopify store and banking to a US fintech bank to stop the FX bleeding completely. The math when this hits: At $360k annual ad spend (after he scales), he'll generate roughly 1.5 million points per year. That's about $72,000 worth of business class flights when redeemed properly. More importantly, he unlocks 1:1 transfer ratios to Singapore Airlines, Emirates, all the premium partners. No more 50% haircut on every point earned. No more economy for him or his team. No more margin loss on currency conversion. He looked relieved when I walked through it. "So I've just been... leaving all this on the table?" Yeah man. Welcome to the club of Canadians who realized that their banking system is designed to extract, not reward. If you're running a Canadian business with US exposure and haven't escaped the points trap yet, this is your sign. The infrastructure exists to fix this in weeks, not years.

Imagine spending years trying to find micro edges in the market when the biggest edge is just shilling "funded" sim accounts

You only remember the times your stop was the bottom of the market You rarely think about the times the market just missed your stop before blasting towards your target You never remember when your stop helped you avoid getting liquidated

It takes the same amount of effort to believe the world is out to get you and the market is hunting your stops as it does to believe you're incredibly lucky and all will work out in your favor Choose wisely

I always wonder why people trade ES when it's known to be one of the most efficient products in the world Why fight against the most sophisticated algos out there? This thought usually occurs after I trade 1000 lots in a day and end up +$37.50
