There's a new all-time goals leader in boys lacrosse. Athens Drive's Jay Cohn broke the old mark of 316 last week that stood for less than a full year after Christ the King's Luke Fenderson graduated. NCHSAA confirmed Saturday's 3-goal comeback by Western Alamance as the first time a team has come back from down 3 goals and won a state title.
Jacksonville also erased a 3-goal deficit against Marvin Ridge, but lost 6-5.

Though the method of seeding has improved (we used to do W-L - yikes, can't imagine it now), it's important to note that only a handful of seeds 15 or below have even made it to a @NCHSAA title in any sport
