Bigotry is unequivocally: — irrational — repugnant — collectivist — anti-libertarian

@ODonnell4NH Horrible! Some of the houses might look the same, instead of some people getting one style of house and others getting nothing but the cold hard ground.

How will NH ever survive this horrible High Density housing? I can't believe these YIMBYs want to force us all to live in idyllic suburbs with affordable starter homes for young families!

A Prayer for Peace Today is the fifteenth day of the first month of the Tibetan Calendar, and the culmination of the annual Great Prayer Festival (Monlam Chenmo), a two-week-long festival that begins with the Tibetan New Year. In accordance with our tradition of dedicating the merit gained from these prayers for the well-being of all sentient beings, this year too I fervently pray for greater peace and understanding in our world. It saddens me to see so many people suffering as a result of conflict, in Ukraine, in Gaza, and other parts of the world. By now we might have hoped that human beings would have learned from their history of violence. In all such conflicts, it is the innocent who bear the heaviest burden—living in fear, facing the loss of so much, even our lives, and constantly enduring the challenge of uncertainty. One simple truth remains: every human being, each and every one of us, wishes not to suffer and only wants to be happy. If we recognize our shared humanity, recalling that the welfare of one depends on the welfare of all, I truly believe we can find a peaceful resolution to even the most intractable conflicts. But to do so requires a willingness to enter into dialogue and negotiation. I therefore appeal for concerted efforts to create a more compassionate, peaceful world free from violence. With my prayers and good wishes, The Dalai Lama 14 March 2025

War is never inevitable. Weapons can and must fall silent, for they never solve problems but only intensify them. Those who sow peace will endure throughout history, not those who reap victims. Others are not enemies to hate but human beings with whom to speak.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NHLA Statement on Ray Buckley’s Resignation from NH Democratic Party Chairmanship CONCORD, NH – The New Hampshire Liberty Alliance (NHLA), the leading voice for individual liberty and limited government in the Granite State, acknowledges the unexpected resignation of Ray Buckley as Chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, effective today. Buckley, a veteran political figure who has led the party for nearly two decades, announced his departure this morning, leaving behind a legacy of steadfast leadership and vigorous debate within New Hampshire’s political landscape. “Ray Buckley has been a formidable presence in state politics, consistently advocating for his party’s principles,” said NHLA Chair Melissa Creem. “While we’ve often stood on opposite sides of policy issues, his commitment to his vision was undeniable. His decision to step down marks a significant shift, and we’re watching closely to see what comes next for both him and the Democratic Party.” Sources within the Democratic Party indicate that Buckley’s exit follows years of navigating internal challenges and engaging in spirited exchanges, particularly in online forums where he was known for his unyielding stance. Replacing him is Representative Timothy Horrigan, a seasoned lawmaker with a reputation for bold ideas, who has pledged to steer the party in a fresh direction. Democrats Jeanne Dietsch and David Meuse, key progressive figures in the party, offered measured reactions. “Ray’s tenure shaped our direction in many ways. What a shame to see him go,” Dietsch said while rolling her eyes and vigorously stirring chamomile tea. “His leaving opens a new chapter—perhaps a quieter one.” Meuse nodded, adding, “He brought intensity to the role. It’ll be different without him steering the ship.” Horrigan, wasting no time, revealed plans to form a liberty caucus within the NH Democratic Party. “We need more liberty Democrats,” he proclaimed, flashing a grin that recalled his days penning poetry for his anthology “Loudon Blues” while working at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway souvenir shop in the early 2000s. “Folks who love freedom as much as a good old fashioned social program—let’s shake things up!” And then there’s Buckley’s next move. After weeks of cryptic tweets about “finding peace in silence,” he’s reportedly joining the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire (LPNH)—not as a strategist, but as their first-ever Mime Ambassador. “I’m done arguing,” Buckley allegedly pantomimed, climbing an invisible ladder. “LPNH showed me liberty’s the way—just watch me juggle these imaginary tax cuts!” The LPNH, oddly thrilled, plans to unveil Buckley’s act, “The Silent Primary,” at their next gathering, complete with invisible shears slicing through red tape. NHLA wishes him luck in this peculiar pivot, though some suspect the timing—first of the month—might hint at a twist too theatrical to take at face value. 🗽

At times, the joy that life attacks me with is unbearable and leads to gasping hysterical laughter. I find myself completely out of control and wonder how could life could surprise me again and again and again, so completely. How could a man be a cynic? It is a sin.

Took a little hiatus from this website for about the last month and a half. Got elected Selectman (similar to town council for my followers outside of New England) during, seemed like a better use of my time. Thank you to the voters and everyone else who ran!

If you’re from New Hampshire and want to help fix LPNH, and help return it to a principled organization that supports consistent Libertarian messaging, and encourages activism and political involvement outside of the confines a duopoly that prohibits challenging the cult of the omnipotent state, please do the following: -Sign up to become a member ($25) -Come to our convention on March 8th -Vote for Spencer Dias to be the next Chair -Rachel Danner to be the next Vice Chair -Stephen Villee for Treasurer - Adam Cahoon for Secretary If our affiliate remains in the wrong hands, they will actively use it to fight against the growth of Libertarianism, by lowering themselves to be simps for authoritarian actions in the name of The Red Team. If the organization is to be turned around, it must focus on embracing local candidates, growing it's resources, funding infrastructure development, and using developed capacity to challenge and hold expected officials accountable, regardless of party. There are many great liberty legislators elected in New Hampshire, but there are many more who claim the title in the hopes of low information vote support with no voting record of personal morals to support the claim to be friends of liberty. The Lesser Evil fallacy must be rejected, as accountability is embraced. If you love the Free State Project and believe in its mission, then Ben Weir is the worst option to elect as Chair, as he intends to allow the communications strategy that has led to LPNH being an embarrassment to @FreeStateNH and the Liberty Movement at large, while also discouraging the party from pursuing its political functions, while trying to divert support to our ideological and political enemies.

It's really funny when bordertarians complain about being called bordertarians on the grounds that nobody actually identifies that way. We know you don't like being called that, guys. It's literally a slur for you. That's why we use it.
