This is the world's last remaining Tracker anti-submarine warfare aircraft in military use! A S-2UP Turbo Tracker in service of the Argentine Navy's 2 Escuadrilla Aeronaval Antisubmarina, 2 Escuadra Aeronaval at Bahia Blanca/Comdte Espora. Its latest depot maintenance or overhaul finished a few weeks ago and since then it is back, performing maritime patrol, surveillance and search and rescue duties. The @BlueAngels were spotted in Phoenix, AZ just a little while ago, stopping for fuel on their way home to Pensacola, FL from Salinas, CA. Last night, they were forced to cancel their appearance at this weekend’s California International Airshow due to the government shutdown.
