If you think someone’s legal status determines whether they get a hearing before being detained or deported, then you’re not arguing for immigration policy, you’re arguing to dismantle the Constitution. That’s it. That’s the correction.

If you skipped the “due process” when you came into the country, you should be afforded no “due process” on your way out. That’s it. That’s the tweet.
