We welcome the announcement of the Government’s bold intention to reverse the downward trend on children’s activity levels and address the differences in attitudes and behaviours towards sport and physical activity amongst underserved children, including girls and those with special educational needs.
This as a real opportunity to reimagine school sport and requires a coordinated approach that maximises all of the resources and expertise already in our system.
