#Breaking 4100 S 3200 W. West Valley Police responded to a crash. On arrival officers received information that everyone involved had minor injuries except a 2 year old child that was not restrained. The father got out of the vehicle and got into a passerby’s car and took off. Details advised the child was possibly in full arrest and possibly needed CPR. They are currently looking for the child and father. Stby for updates. They just updated and said the father and child arrived at a local hospital. Multiple WVC officers responding to check on the infants condition.

Sandy Fire – Working House Fire Dispatched: 17:21 (5:21 PM) Address: 8709 S Piper Ln, Sandy, UT 84093 Fire originated in the attached garage, involving a vehicle. It quickly spread to additional vehicles and then extended into the main structure. While en route, units reported a large black smoke column. On arrival, the garage was fully involved with heavy fire. Crews attempted a rapid knockdown, but the fire was well advanced and spreading aggressively. Offensive operations were initiated with plans to enter the structure, but within minutes conditions deteriorated rapidly—intense heat, zero visibility, and heavy fire conditions forced crews to withdraw and transition to defensive mode. All occupants escaped safely prior to arrival, and no injuries have been reported. An arson investigator has been requested. Firefighting operations remain ongoing.

@SLCScanner I was on that flight. We sat on runway for 5.5 hours (4 hours without a single update.) We may have slept all night on that runway if this didnt happen. Then we waited 4 more hours at customs for our bags.
