I'd prefer to have a better way to filter posts/people I don't like to see anymore. it removes all needs from a characters limit.

I read only following people and answers to their posts, not need to limit people with their thoughts. In Mastodon and real people on X I see no issues with long posts.

I used to like Twitter for it's SMS characters number limit. I thought it's beneficial, but after invention of SMM and other branding ideas, especially with AI, it literally stopped to make any sense anymore.

I remember FreeBSD used to be used for routers and other networking solutions due to more efficient optimizations. But is there use cases when FreeBSD is still better than Linux? * FreeBSD, OpenBSD, any bsd kernel-based.

@ThePrimeagen I go to google images and download an image, then boom it is webp! That's why I hate it 😒

Mastodon is great social network. It feels like the old time twitter or forums with no algorithms and very small and friendly community, but the fact that you can see an answer from a person, open a profile and see 0 posts while a counter above shows 1k posts, it's frustrating.
