Today I spoke to the Lakeland City Commission about Project Swan. I’m not against growth. I’m against blank checks. No NDAs. No tax incentives before public power, water, and traffic studies. So proud of Lakeland residents for showing up to oppose their data center. 🙌 50 people attended, 20 spoke. A few days later, Lakeland City Commissioner Guy Lalonde Jr said, “Lakeland should consider a one year moratorium on new large scale and hyper scale data centers”

My favorite part of the “AI concern” discourse is that the real concern isn’t deception. It’s access. The upset is over the fact that ordinary people can now make political ads, sharpen messages, distribute clips, go viral and compete with consultant-class million-dollar campaigns without asking permission. “Anyone can become a political consultant” is not a warning. It’s the First Amendment with better software. 🐊 As far as @CollinsWarRoom getting their shoutout here make sure to follow them and remember that no press is "bad press"
