I trust a black man over a white woman. Infact even a mexican man over a white woman. I trust a 12 year old boy over a full grown woman.

@KemiBadenoch @Conservatives I remember how that fracking vote went locally in my constituency. Our ex-Tory MP had a nightmare- "no honestly, I don't agree with it here in my constituency, but neighbouring constituencies, that's a different matter" 🤣🤣 We didn't forget. Get out.

Sir Ian Cheshire has been named the preferred candidate to become the next Chair of Ofcom. The announcement was made by Technology Secretary Liz Kendall. Sir Ian, a seasoned business leader, is best known for his recent role as Chair of Channel 4, a position he held from 2022 until April 2025. His appointment is subject to a pre-appointment hearing by the Science, Innovation and Technology Select Committee. If confirmed, he will succeed Lord Michael Grade, whose four-year term concludes at the end of April 2026. Sir Ian brings extensive experience from senior leadership roles across the private sector, including as CEO of Kingfisher and non-executive director roles at BT and Barclays. He will take on the part-time role at a salary of £120,000 per year. As the new Chair, Sir Ian Cheshire will lead Ofcom at a critical time, with major responsibilities including the full implementation of the Online Safety Act, regulating social media giants like X (formerly Twitter), and overseeing a significant review of the UK's telecoms sector. His appointment ends weeks of speculation, during which Labour peer Baroness Margaret Hodge and former Conservative Culture Secretary Sir Jeremy Wright were also considered frontrunners.

@sophielouisecc How this community focused Sheffield boxing club is giving people a fighting chance in life. Within just a few weeks of starting up his project, crime on the Manor dropped by 37 per cent and fires in the area reduced by half. share.google/2bf6qFrbG4uidU…

🚨 WTF!!! Donald Trump calls into a rally attended by Vance to back Viktor Orbán: “The United States is with him all the way.” And praises Orbán for keeping Hungary “strong” and free from “invasion.” An American president openly endorsing a European leader ahead of an election. This is FAR from normal.

If the absolute folly of the King's State Visit to America is seriously going ahead the most useful thing he could do is remind Trump that the English people beheaded one of his ancestors for claiming Divine Right as his own.

Can the Secret Service say they are protecting the President (from himself) by taking him into custody? Asking for the world.

Banning Kayne West, but giving Trump two state visits and then the King going to see him feels a bit like mixed messaging.

@PeterJ24805519 @BenDempsey18 @piersmorgan Yes, I know. I've already addressed the misleading data and the many flaws. Not least studies on how America hides rape stats. Now do Epstein Island data. Sort your own rapists and paedophiles out.

@Vincemonee @BenDempsey18 @piersmorgan Thanks. If you go straight to the source (United Nations) You'll see the highest is Grenada. That list was not comparing the same years. Wiki also mentions difficult to compare due to definition & bent reporting eg How to Lie with Rape Statistics: America's Hidden Rape Crisis

Reeves pats herself on the back. The woman who once ludicrously posed as the Iron Chancellor, hiked taxes, wasted billions on benefits, destroyed jobs and crushed economic growth. She’s totally out of her depth.

Our friends, the Brits, went from relinquishing their right to bear arms in 1997 to standing on the edge of the Islamist abyss today. Our Second Amendment is not about the right to go duck hunting, folks. It’s about keeping power in the hands of The People.
