So, I just got off the phone with a guy who has been my friend since we were in diapers. Our parents and grandparents were friends too. A long, rambling conversation it was. Truly, the best things in life cannot be bought with money.

There is absolutely no COVID testing data in my community. As I observe the restaurant business, the retail trades and the medical community it is obvious they are all short staffed. If this issue is a result of long COVID, and if it will be continuing, we simply have no way to know. Listening to politicians does no earthly good. We must have real data and real testing. Every week I see buildings going vacant and restaurants close. People all around me are getting sick. One more thing: I have it on good authority that if you trip and fall down on the concrete it hurts. Also, hard to sleep for some time afterwards. Whatever you do tomorrow, pay attention to curbs! :-)

So, let me ask you folks my age range a question. I'm recently turned 67. I have around me an inordinate number of friends that are suffering strokes. Most are a bit older than me, but not much. Additionally I have a plethora of female acquaintances around 40 years old recently stricken with breast cancer. Is this an anomaly in Bruce's world, or do any of you happen to be witness to same?
