Here's my #Nhl Top 20 U23 for Forward Prospects - Keeper League. Any player that's under 23 years old, has played less than 100 games and got drafted is eligible for this top 20! Who did i missed? Leafs win the defensemen side of the trade. Lose the goalie side which is okay considering we have a lot of goalies + Akhtyamov’s likely coming up. Save $4M in cap space( if we dump Ersson) + get a 3rd round pick 🤔

@ScoutingIce @LeafsPapi_ Juice is not worth the squeeze. Or vice versa lol. Too much money to eat for diminishing returns. Nurse actually settled down and played well when paired properly with Connor Murphy, but the Leafs don't have that kind of D corps. They need everyone to be independent learners lol.

@Shazzmuss @LeafsPapi_ Yea like I said on my feed I would expect a contract around 2.2m x 2y for Andrae. After yes you get Hilderby in and try to use your extra cap space to be aggressive. Wonder about a guy like Nurse or Hamilton

@ScoutingIce @LeafsPapi_ Ersson is an RFA as of July 1st. I bet they don't even qualify him. Andrae will get a modest raise, but he doesn't have a body of work to warrant anything major. Could be a bigger saving, plus the opening of a roster spot for Hildeby.

@ScoutingIce @AdamWylde Ersson is probably getting flipped or they try to get him to sign a two way deal so it leads to closer to 3mil in cap a likely D upgrade and opens a spot for hildeby which was needed

Look, it's confusing to me that #Toronto would let go of Woll who has bled white and blue.. On the other hand, you take a chance on Andrae + you give Hilderby the chance to prove himself at the Nhl level while saving maybe 1m after re-signing Andrae and Ersson. Might be a smaller move needed to help get the cap space for a guy like Hamilton or Nemec..
