@GaryGensler This might be the most clown shoes take I've ever seen. Lawmakers in the 1930s had no fucking idea something like crypto would even be a possibility. If nothing else, this shows how unbelievably bad faith you are regarding these recent lawsuits.

There's nothing about the crypto securities markets that suggests that investors & issuers are less deserving of the protections of our securities laws. Congress could have said in the 1930s that the securities laws applied only to stocks & bonds. For more, read my remarks:

1/3 6 months ago the SEC investigated FTX US on multiple matters. They found no wrong doing. Instead they continued to meet with FTX on giving them a "no-action letter" to broaden reach in the US markets.

This is ridiculous. Reminder, members of the Federal Reserve traded stocks that the Fed was buying in 2021 at the very bottom of the market, before the bull rally. This is where they sold - at the very market top - before the Fed raised rates and being cleared of wrongdoing.
