When troops repel attacks overnight and people wake up safely, it won’t trend. But that’s the real “good morning Nigeria.

As earlier mentioned, the doctor advised me to return the next day to see the gynecologist. I was 16 weeks pregnant and my first pregnancy. Included in the drugs were tablets and a bottle liquid substance but I didn't take any of the tablets because I was a keen reader of babycenter.com newsletters but only took a ½ teaspoon of the liquid drug. I returned the next day with all the prescribed drugs. Immediately, I entered to take my turn and speak with the gynecologist. I noticed his office was shared between two doctors but spacious enough to maintain an element of confidentiality in conversation. Me: "Doctor, I have been feeling pains in my stomach and pressure in my pelvic bones. Like I can feel the baby's head in my pelvic but I'm just 16weeks pregnant. That is just too early, something is not right. I was here yesterday and the doctor prescribed these drugs" (I brought out all the drugs starting with the liquid drug). While having my head bent down because I was trying to empty the contents of the prescribed drugs on his table, I didn't know the doctor was aghast, alarmed and already on his feet because he was shocked to see the drugs I was given. His colleague noticing the liquid content asked from far right, "is she going for surgery? Is she aborting the baby? Immediately, I stood up with teary eyes clutching my stomach and trying to soothe my baby and be sure the baby in my womb was still alive, and screamed "Nooooooooo. I'm not aborting my baby. I only came to lay a complaint to your colleague yesterday and she prescribed these drugs to me." The Gynecologist with a sympathetic, worrisome and distraught eyes calmly asked: "Madam, did you take any of these drugs"? I died inside.

I went to the hospital to complain about pains in my stomach and feeling pressure like the baby's head in my pelvic bones. I was just a few weeks pregnant, and carefully explained to the doctor what I was experiencing. Immediately, she brought out a medical dictionary and started asking herself rhetorical questions: "It can't be blah blah blah or can it be? She has me to lie down while she examines me further. At a point she went to the next office to seek advice from her colleague. Me I was less concerned about her medical ineptitude, I just needed relief. She came in after consulting with her colleague and prescribed some drugs to me which I collected from the pharmacy and went home. And she told me that I needed to see a gynecologist the next day. Being my first pregnancy, I have carefully followed babycenter.com and read all their newsletters. So I got home and showed my hubby some little substance in a bottle given to me to take at the hospital. Being a cautious person, I took half of a teaspoon, and kept praying that nothing happened to my baby. You people won't believe what happened the next day.😭😭😭
