[COMMENT] Deputy TMPD chief Revo Spies is now before the Madlanga Commission -and what’s emerging is deeply troubling. The Commission earlier heard about chats between Sgt Fannie Nkosi and some senior Tshwane officials raising serious questions about tenders and procurement. A single company pocketed nearly R60- million in just 12 months for so-called “Ad Hoc” security services. How is this possible? It appears the rot in Tshwane doesn’t look isolated. It looks entrenched. South Africans deserve the full truth — no spin, no protection, no more excuses.
