Text from a respected NFL GM in response to a heated discussion we had on "The Schrager Hour" over whether a team can really take a safety (Downs) in the top 5 in 2026: "Throw positional value out this year." Food for thought.

NFL concluded today that Chiefs WR Rashee Rice “has not engaged in conduct that violates the personal conduct policy” and the investigation into accusations from his former girlfriend is now closed; there will be no discipline at this time. Went over all the Chiefs signings yesterday. Especially think this blurb on Kenneth Walker is pertinent. Running Back contracts have stalled in the past decade. Walker's contract is very reasonable historically. If Running Backs are starting to matter again...
