Utah OL Spencer Fano’s arms measured 32 7/8 just now at his pro day, up from 32 1/8 at the Combine. Another indication that, for whatever reason, the measurements in Indy were short for a number of prospects. That’s a big 3/4 inch difference for Fano.

He's had a disaster class pre draft process but I'd take him at 29. Weird player but think the value there makes sense.

@jessenewell @TheAthletic Yeah but I mean a run stuffing NT is a ~40% snap share player. Left Tackle is 100% and the Chiefs did not think they would get Simmons.
You can find NT's throughout the draft but you can't find LTs. Made signing an insurance player at LT much more logical.

@Conner_DKC @TheAthletic Last year was very similar, right? Chiefs got Jaylon Moore in FA then took Josh Simmons late in 1R. Final 4 NFL teams also had great DL rotations. McDonald would help now and in future, imo, though if you want to argue a different DT like Mark did, I wouldn't object.

@Conner_DKC Why not see if the cowboys would trade our two 1st round picks for theirs? Go back a little on first pick and still probably get one of the 3 WR options, then move from 29 to 20 and get a much better talent. It is just too perfect of a scenario if Bain/Bailey is gone already

Reviewing the possibilities...probably would do it.
Increasingly worried Cardinals don't go OT at 3, Giants/Browns go Tate, Browns don't go OT, and the Chiefs are kinda left out to dry at 9.
74 to jump the Saints to 5 or 6 or 109 to jump to 7 to secure Bain? Why not?

I kinda hate saying this but for the price of the Chiefs' 3rd round pick (74) KC could jump the Saints and Commanders by trading with the Browns.. Would really increase their odds at landing one of Bain, Bailey or Tate. Would you make that move to ensure you land the guy?

This, completely, depends on their feelings on Lemon/Downs however.
Very hard to make a realistic scenario where at least one of them isn't on the board at 9.
So if they are fine with those two names then it's fine to stay at 9. If not, go get Bain.
