@Slushea On this wordlist it's a tie between words like deified and rotator, but some lists have "redivider" or "tattarrattat"

Thanks to @dastulika for bringing my cartoon to life so colourfully, and for cleverly transforming one of the gnats into a half-lemon, half-gnat visual palindrome: tangy gnat!

i have (more) questions: why do we equate AI with robots and machines instead of constellations, libraries, forests or mycelial networks? why do we view AI solely as futurism instead of an accretion of histories? what if it's not an intelligence but a literacy, a new way of reading the world? what if it's not an intelligence but an instrument -- as in violin, piano, something to be played, something that sings? instrument as in telescope, microscope, X-ray, something that reveals, magnifies, extends perception? what's artificial about the raw material of human language, labor and longing? why do we call it invention or innovation, not evolution?

DEATH OF A PALINDROMIST See, still as mirror reset, a torso golden. Words sap, mock, cut me open. Old as a tide, I edit a sad, lone poem, tuck compass. Drowned Logos rotates. Error rims all it sees. #palindrome

Now that I have recovered from my palindrome bypass surgery, I may just go back to Xcreting spoonerisms here. 'Mad in the glow' meant glad in the moment. #spoonerism

@Hennyhennies @teaforpterosaur @sleeepysandy Not really. Many strong drugs have horrible side effects that cause much suffering to the patient while still having the marginal benefit of keeping them alive or controlling debilitating symptoms.

Enola Gay (palindrome) “Enola’s in,” a monk said. I ask, “No medic?” “One grey ash, too sere,” monk said. I ask, “No man is alive?” “Evil. A sin,” a monk said. I ask no mere soothsayer, “Genocide?” “ …. “ monk said. I ask, “No man is alone?” #palindrome

Fall (palindrome) Lear sits, old, a maniac, sees tired, lost, pure garden. Madder Eve fades, pales. Tin empires abase, rip men. It’s elapsed— A fevered, damned rage rupts. Older, it sees Cain, a mad, lost Israel.

@LukeKennard Thank you, Luke. Because, for the aphantasic reader, the physical description of characters, interiors and vistas is like a cognitive bog to be waded through and I wish more authors would stop showing off with all their 'ooh look at me I've got a visual imagination' fanciness.

@dc_scrabblegram Nice one! I didn't spot that. A pair of tree-dwelling birds' nests makes a very fine arboreal aerobra if you can't find one in the shops.

@dc_scrabblegram That's a nice idea. I've lost the habit lately. I'll have to climb out of my 'birch crib' and see if I can get my 'red root nib into order'!

@Spoonerrhythms Hey, Steven! Great to see you again, hope you've been well. Maybe that book and the new season will inspire some arboreal palindromes?

@dc_scrabblegram Thanks, Dave! The seed for this was the idea of drug doses lapping at the synaptic shore, from a phrase that didn’t make it to the final version: ‘pale, sodden [-ned] dose lap’.

@Spoonerrhythms Late to the comments section on this one, but once again this one is fantastic. Love the "lift serotonin / put El Nino to rest" combo, and "fill a rip's deep synapse sadness" is true palindrome poetry. So uplifting! 👏
