A'ja Wilson wants everything Caitlin Clark has. Then when they start overshadowing her, she sends them away because she doesn't want to share the spotlight. Watch Pissot sell more jerseys than A'ja. First it was KM, now JP.

Did the Indiana Fever and WNBA Create the Blueprint for Caitlin Clark to Challenge her Contract? Every professional sports league depends on one simple principle: Contracts must mean the same thing for everyone. That principle became much harder to defend after the WNBA's handling of the DeWanna Bonner situation. Bonner departed the Indiana Fever before her contractual commitment ended. She ultimately manipulated her way to Phoenix, so she could play alongside her lover, Alyssa Thomas, and the league approved the outcome. The message was sent. The precedent was established. If contractual obligations can be avoided and resolved in a way that allows a player to reach a preferred destination under these absurd circumstances, then every other player should assume the same flexibility exists. Why wouldn't Caitlin Clark demand? Why wouldn't any player unhappy with their situation demand? The Indiana Fever repeatedly defended controversial basketball decisions as being about "culture." The WNBA approved the outcome without question. Together, those decisions have invited a larger question: are player contracts applied consistently, or are they even enforceable? Professional leagues survive on confidence in their rules. If parties begin to believe contracts are enforced differently depending on the player or the situation, confidence erodes. Whether that perception is fair or not, the league created it. And once confidence in the consistency of contract enforcement is weakened, every future player has reason to ask the same question: If DeWanna Bonner was able to reach the destination she wanted, why couldn't I?

All 3 Amber Steph and Kelly need to go. They’re just playing in CC face. They don’t rate her talent they believe she’s a role player
#FireStephWhite@WNBA_Analyst

.@AmberLCox has to go down as the WORST general manager in the history of professional sports! From signing DeQuit Bonner to overpaying Mo Billings to hiring the wrong coach for CC to completely fucking up Indiana’s salary cap situation. Like wow! 🤦‍♀️

Stop telling her what to do all the time!! Geez!! All the good coaches never limit their players!! What has SW really achieved that this FO just refuses to let her go?? Team still struggling and not hungry to win every game, only after losing games and getting the heat.

@kenswift It’s a big reason we love Sophie & Caitlin beyond their 🏀 skills — they exude confidence, joy, and self awareness. I’d wager a majority of W players don’t. Hearing most players during cringey in-game interviews, our two eloquent ladies ruined the spotlight for the rest.

Sophie Cunningham knew the spotlight was big and was a way to highlighter her Brand on and off the court. I always thought that would be a way to pull more players to Indiana. The problem is, that spotlight isn’t for everyone. She even talks about players wanting to leave because the scrutiny is too much. It’s a double edged sword.

@kenswift Her reposting this didn't fit in Stephanie's "culture" of lying. She also said she wasn't injured when the coach was claiming she was. It's fall in line or be gone @IndianaFever @AmberLCox

So are we going to keep blaming the coach? They player has no say so? None? Boston is out, next game plays 36 minutes. Clark plays on minutes restrictions, then out, then back with a minutes restrictions. There is not a human being on earth or reading this, let alone a professional athlete that is going to continue to let this be done to them, their career, their stats, and their brand. You can say what you want but at some point, the player is liable, complicit, or stupid. it is one of those 3 things.

At some point, minute restrictions stop being a medical decision and start becoming a coaching decision.

Pull back the curtain and who do we see behind all of the Fever problems, none other than Lin Dunn. Blame the front line, but Dunn is the puppet master.

As the days go by, I’m turning into less and less of a Fever fan, and more a fan of just individual players tbh. I can’t wholeheartedly support a team where the front office and coach are this incompetent. @CaitlinClark22 let’s get out of here man, and take AB along with you.
