After reading FCC’s Notice of Proposed Rule Making for leased access one can’t help but wonder it there is a single person in FCC’s Media Bureau that possesses any modicum of common sense. Now they propose one states the airtime wanted before being told what it costs.

Why isn't #broadband an election issue? From Vice: motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/… My personal theory. Most candidates *have* broadband, so they don't worry about it.

Just imagine how many parents would have been overjoyed had the U.S. not allowed those under the age of 21 to have never carried a weapon into war. Odd how it is that one can kill or be killed in the military but can't go hunting anymore if civilans under 21 can't have guns.

Really need you to support Sen. Markey's CRA on Net Neutrality. I deal with these major broadband operators on a nationwide basis and am aware of what they do that can hurt small operators such as we have and need here in Mississippi.@SenatorWicker

One day they kill net neutrality. The very next day my AT&T DSL service is providing me me an astounding 1.56 upload; .09 down. Amazing how these great corporate giants look out for customers.

Today we’re in ‘mell of a hess’ as we confront ‘freedom of speech’ and some of many Americans ‘core values’. But this is not the answer.

Now the Senate wants to let cable do what Congress in 1984 found to be reprehensible; that is to let cable dictate local editorial content.

While the law requires cable to sell airtime to shows where they have no control over content, Cox has snubbed the law and refused airtime.

Congress created leased access requiring local cable sites to carry shows while being banned from interfering in editorial content.

In ‘kneejerk’ action I embraced Senate legislation allowing cable operators to bar certain shows; a serious attack on our 1st amendment.
