@StopPredators
Works to bring together policy experts & community leaders with the shared goal of protecting children & holding victimizers accountable.

"AFP is proud to lead a coalition of top AI leaders working to advance the @POTUS national AI framework and secure American AI dominance. We stand ready to work with Congress to ensure it is made into law.” - Katelyn Bledsoe @KR_Bledsoe afplink.org/4lWCbYE

KOSA doesnt' help these kids. No one's talking about "protecting" these kids. They're on their own. W/ favorite collaborator @donmcgowan dcjournal.com/when-the-calls…

This is what all 75 Senators below are voting for by putting bills like KOSA before serious law enforcement intervention & tough sentencing guidelines for predators. KOSA doesn't stop this. It doesn't protect one child from David Allen Funston. This is what causes child exploitation. x.com/NBCNews/status…

Thank you to the 75 Senators who have co-sponsored my Kids Online Safety Act. Americans are demanding action, and every single member of Congress has a duty to deliver it.

Today, I’m proud to stand alongside leaders from various law enforcement organizations in the Greater New Orleans area to announce the creation of the Orleans Metro ICAC Task Force, which will be housed at the Kenner Police Department. Members of the Task Force will be equipped with the latest technology to collaboratively address the rising numbers of tips related to child exploitation in the area. aglizmurrill.com/Article/421

“AFP is proud to lead a coalition of 40+ organizations calling for federal AI preemption. As state regulations threaten innovation and national security, we appreciate President Trump’s leadership and urge Congress to act.” — Katelyn Bledsoe, Managing Director, External Affairs

Today I am delighted to announce that I have been appointed President of @StopPredators I hope you will join me in supporting the movement to take child predators off the street.

50 competing AI rulebooks, esp coming from states that have already largely failed to protect children or adequately fund law enforcement to fight child exploitation, will create nothing but chaos & more child endangerment. We need a Manhattan Project, a Marshal Plan, a Moon Shot. We need a unified approach.

"If you want to prevent 'the next social media crisis,' the solution isn’t 50 competing AI rulebooks that bog down responsible developers; it’s enforcing the broad protections we already have & creating smart national policies that actually address real harms." Yes, @castrotech

"The positive analysis for AI regulation likely strongly favors federal preemption. The extra-jurisdictional effects might be massive, the compliance costs of fragmentation are enormous, and the benefits of state-specific tailoring are minimal. Accordingly, Congress should establish comprehensive national AI safety and fairness standards through federal legislation as quickly as possible while preserving limited state authority only for applications with genuinely local characteristics." @lawandeconomics @lawrence_spiwak

Instagram’s Teen Accounts will now be “guided” by the Motion Picture Association’s PG-13 movie rating. What that means: Users of teen accounts will be restricted to seeing content that contains the level of nudity, sexual expression, profanity, drug use, violence and other adult-oriented themes that they they would expect to see in a PG-13 movie. variety.com/2025/digital/n…
