@AdnaanJnr So is there a newsletter that goes out each week that tells these idiots on X/twitter what to talk about? No one has EVER complained about a season drop and now it’s hundreds of X accounts doing it ? Stupid engagement bots

The Spider-Noir producers really fumbled by dropping all 8 episodes at once. A weekly release would’ve had the internet in a chokehold for two straight months with theories, edits, and nonstop hype every week. #SpiderNoir

@alexmaccaroon The reality is, when this released this was LOVED by almost everyone; but especially children. People lined up in droves for this incl midnight showings; and the merchandise sold like crazy. Divisiveness didn’t come till revenge of the sith.

- the story is plodding and boring - the characters are dull - the plot is full of ridiculous contrivances - the battle droids do not represent any peril because the Jedi cut through them like butter - “taxation of trade routes” - ridiculous dialogue - Jar Jar Binks - Midi-Chlorians - overuse of CGI/bluescreen - climactic ending with four different story threads

People will say this is anti-child but I think it’s a reaction to the gentle parenting trend. The last two times I was at nice restaurants I was seated near children under 5. One family had two toddlers on loud iPads and didn’t not parent them when they became unruly. The other family had a baby that screamed for almost half the meal. We were with an older relative who told me they weren’t even allowed to go to a restaurant until they were well into elementary school and could act respectfully. No one wants to listen to a screaming child when they’re out for a nice meal. Not all spaces are or should be child friendly. I’ll also add—I’d love to see restaurants adopt airline device rules. Take phone calls outside and wear headphones if you want to watch something.
Fox News@FoxNews

No one wants a romantic dinner ruined by a screaming child at the next table. According to a new survey, 75% of Americans say restaurants should offer some kind of adults-only dining experience to avoid unruly kids. That includes child-free sections, restrictions during late-night hours, and quieter dining environments focused more on the experience than family-friendly chaos.

We bring our kids to every restaurant we go to. They’re polite and well behaved. Don’t fall for this boomer bullshit. Bring your kids out to eat. If people don’t like it they can kindly go fuck themselves.

One episode in and I'm actually blown away by how good "Spider-Noir" is! Nicolas Cage plays Ben Reilly, "The Spider," retired superhero working as a PI in alternate 1930s NYC. I chose the black and white version to get the "film noir" experience, but it's more like "noir-esque." Because as usual with Amazon Prime, it’s darker than real film noir — like they lit it correctly, then put a stocking over the lens. Other than that, it's got all the standard noir tropes, but WOKE: The sassy (but FAT LATINA) secretary. The BLACK reporter who's besties with Ben. The ASIAN femme fatale — who performs a modernized version of "Dream a Little Dream" that totally breaks the immersion. The witty banter that fits Cage like a glove. Tons of CIGARETTES. But most importantly, it's got what most superhero shows refuse to have: superheroes fighting supervillains! Like I said, it's just one episode, but I'm hoping this becomes Nic Cage's late-life magnum opus. But it's Amazon Prime — so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Today, we remember a legend. On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline. Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme. He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe. Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on. Gone, but never forgotten. Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸 May 27, 1999 — May 28, 2016 Forever in our hearts.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE was released 12 years ago today. The scene in which Quicksilver runs through the X-Mansion lasts only 3 minutes on screen but took 3 & a half months to shoot, so Evan Peters, spent more time on set than any other actor.

He’s too old to make a Bond comeback now but I certainly agree about him being the only man for the job at the time. Public, critics and box office loved him. Baffling that they gambled on replacing him. Whether or not you approve of the result, that was a ballsy decision.
Cinema Tweets@CinemaTweets1

Maybe we took Pierce Brosnan for granted as 007. This guy was the perfect Bond at the perfect time - he was exactly what this franchise needed in the late ‘90s. I’ve said it before but I would love a reboot with Brosnan as an older, retired Bond pulled back into the force.

Love Classical Music and Movies 🎺🎻💖🎥🎬
🎬 The Wrestler (2008) – Mickey Rourke delivered the performance of a lifetime as Randy “The Ram” Robinson. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars but didn’t win. Still, that role revived his career and turned him into a legend for audiences worldwide. Sometimes you don’t need the golden statue—true artistry lives on. A performance without an Oscar, yet immortal.
