Steven Bartlett says a few glasses of wine ruined the next 3 days of his life “It's one of those areas where you don't understand the hidden cost until you really give it up for a while. I stopped drinking at 30 years old. I'm now 33. When I was 31, I thought, I'll have a drink again because now I could really A/B test it. I had a year of not drinking, decided to have a drink again” “It ruined three days of my life. I had a couple of glasses of wine, didn't get drunk. It ruined three days of my life because of the domino effect it caused” “I got worse sleep that night, and then because I got worse sleep that night, I ate more poorly the next day because my dopamine system or whatever, the cortisol system was all messed up. I podcasted worse. I didn't go to the gym that day or the day after because I felt really bad. I then slept worse, and I could track all of this on my Whoop”

Regardless of the outcome of Spencer Pratt’s race, what he’s doing is authentically American. See a problem, become a part of the solution. His campaign ads are unconventional, but that’s the point; it’s refreshing. Instead of speaking like a career politician, he’s speaking as an American who sees and deeply understands how fragile the simple things in life are when leadership fails. This is what this country is all about. Citizens willing to step into the political arena, unafraid, and challenge a failing system, much like the one that has destroyed Los Angeles. I hope moments like this inspire more Americans to throw their names into the mix, run for office, get involved and stand up for what makes this country exceptional.

Alex Cooper isn't actually a hypocrite... She announced her pregnancy this week, and the internet promptly lost its mind. The critics piled on within hours and the accusations of hypocrisy were immediate. People wondered how she could possibly live with herself; after all, she constantly praises hookup culture and casual sex on her podcast, and yet here she is, happily married with a baby on the way. To believe that Alex is a hypocrite is to misunderstand the ways of modern feminism, though. It may seem like she's talking about a lifestyle on Call Her Daddy that she doesn't actually believe in, let alone walk herself, but that's not quite what's happening here. Alex Cooper is actually living out the perfect feminist dream. The only problem is, that dream is not nearly as attainable for everyday women as they would like to believe. This is bc they do not have the time or capacity to create home cooked meals. It’s an issue countless ppl have tried to raise w leftists but big leftists online continue to shame/abuse poor ppl for being forced to rely on these services for meals, which act as a tax on the poor

“For the first time in American history, the Office of the @Surgeon_General is issuing an official advisory, warning parents and the public about the dangers of excessive screen time and harmful digital media exposures for children.” —@SecKennedy

Prevention measures like an $11 bath mat could save Americans tens of thousands of dollars. If Medicare would send these out to every recipient in America, I’ll bet the investment would pay for itself in under a year.

🚨This is the new acting US Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, Jennifer Lowery. She and her district are still weaponizing the DOJ in contravention of President Trump's Day 1 executive order. They are continuing the corrupt and insane prosecution of my husband @EithanHaim for blowing the whistle on Texas Children's Hospital's secret transgender program. Not only have they refused to drop the case, in the last few days, they have ACCELERATED their prosecution ahead of trial on Feb 10. They are attempting to bleed us dry, and make no mistake, they will try to take him to trial and put him in prison for 10 years if they aren't stopped. The President's order specifically calls out the Biden DOJ's weaponized persecution of those who criticized their policies (which included their unwavering support for transgender procedures on children). He ordered a review of DOJ and FBI actions to determine whether any of their actions are contrary to the "purposes and policies of this order." No reasonable person can see this case as anything other than a blatant, malicious, and illegal weaponized prosecution. And you don't have to take my word for it - the chairman of the weaponization committee @Jim_Jordan, @chiproytx, @tedcruz, @HawleyMO, @DanCrenshawTX and many of others have called it what it is. Eithan's case goes to trial in just 3 weeks unless the Southern District of Texas or someone above them does the right thing. Although I am confident he would be vindicated at trial, the fact that it even got this far is a testament to how unfair the process has been (see also my posting on the unconstitutional de facto gag order). Eithan will risk federal prison for 10 years, losing years of his life with his new daughter, and having his medical license taken away. Every day this prosecution continues drives us even deeper into bankruptcy. President Trump may be in office, but for now, the weaponization of the federal government is still very much alive.
