The action in names like SNDK WDC STX LITE BE and some others so impressive given the chop/weakness in indexes. Indexes have a lot of work to do if they can even hold their respective 200SMAs (we will see). Under weekly and daily EMAs but there is a bullish divergence on NAMO/NYMO with QQQ/SPY making lower lows today and those not confirming. Next few sessions seem important.

I just met with Prairie Farm School District leaders about the challenges facing our public schools.
Rural or urban, our public schools are facing real challenges because of our failure to fully fund them.
Voters shouldn’t have to increase their own property taxes just to keep their school doors open. As governor, I’ll fully fund our public schools so that every child can have a world-class education.

Why did the forecast keep bouncing around before Sunday night’s blizzard?
The radar actually explains everything… and once you see it, the forecast swings make total sense.
Let’s take a look.

The recent intense winter storm had ~10mb drop in central pressure over a 12 hour period of time (992mb to 982mb).
Not quite bomb cyclone criteria but a massive deepening of the low as it rounded the south end Lake Michigan and was responsible for the storm to verify going forecasts.
This was a doozy of a storm but likely approaching the the upper limit of how much moisture and snow we can get from a synoptic system here in NE WI.
Seems 16-18” is the upper limit in a 24 hour period and ~26-30” is the upper limit in a 48 hour period - at least these are the extremes on record in Green Bay.
Whereas out east - thanks to the Atlantic Ocean - 35-40” snow events are much more likely due to moisture availability.
