If you havenโ€™t heard, and even if you have, Jimmy Kimmel said this about Markwayne Mullin, former Senator from Oklahoma, and our newest Secretary of Homeland Security: โ€œWe have a plumber now protecting us from terrorism.โ€ Apparently, there has been some backlash. Plumbers were offended, obviously, as were parents of plumbers, spouses of plumbers, children of plumbers, and millions of people who have had a plumber show up when they needed one. Comedians were also offended, (the funny ones, anyway,) along with a surprising number of terrorists - especially those with access to hot and cold running water. However, in spite of the ensuing kerfuffle, @jimmykimmel doubled down. โ€œIโ€™m not upset that the head of Homeland Security was a plumber,โ€ he said, โ€œIโ€™m upset that he isnโ€™t still a plumber." He further elucidated by adding, "I wouldn't put a plumber in charge of Homeland Security for the same reason I wouldn't call a five-star general to pull a rat out of my toilet, OK? We all have our areas of expertise.โ€ Being offended is always a choice, and I donโ€™t choose to be offended by a joke, even one that comes at the expense of the skilled tradespeople my foundation tries to elevate. But I am a tad butt hurt by the suggestion that skilled workers should never evolve into something new, and that competence is somehow limited to one vocation. Obviously, expertise and skill are important. If I need a new kidney, Iโ€™d prefer a doctor do the surgery, not a late-night talk show host. But if the doctor in question used to host a talk show, why would I hold that against him? Ten years ago, during one of the presidential debates, @MarcoRubio answered a workforce-related question by arguing that America needed to get shop class back into high schools. He concluded by saying, โ€œWhat our country needs are more welders and fewer philosophers.โ€ A lot of people on this page commented that Rubio and I were singing from the same hymnal, but in fact, we werenโ€™t. At least not entirely. Because I donโ€™t think the current shortage of welders has anything to do with an overabundance of philosophers. In fact, I think itโ€™s a mistake to promote one vocation at the expense of the other. What we really need in this country, are more welders who can talk intelligently about Aristotle, and more philosophers who can run an even bead. More Generals, in other words, who can fix their own toilets, and more plumbers who can hold a powerful government job. This is what Mullin did. He was a private citizen who mastered an essential skill and then turned that skill into a multi-million-dollar company that employed a lot of people and served a lot of customers. That gave him the freedom to do other things with his life, including a career in public service which got him into Congress, where heโ€™s spent the last eleven years doing whatever Congressmen do. Now, he has a very consequential position in the Cabinet of the current administration. Is that not the embodiment of the American Dream? I get that Jimmy Kimmel might have a problem with Mullinโ€™s politics, but what possible objection could he have about the trajectory of his career, or his desire to do more than one thing with his life? The only sensible thing to do in the wake of a moment this tone deaf, is remind America that the skills gap is wide, and getting wider. The shortage of skilled tradespeople is now headline news and closing it is nothing less than a matter of national security. This year, my foundation has set aside $10 million dollars to help train the next generation of plumbers, and lots of other essential workers. I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of AI-proof, six figure jobs that don't require a four-year degree, waiting to be filled. The money is currently available to anyone who wants to master a useful skill at mikeroweworks.org. Apply today. As for those of you genuinely offended by Kimmel's comments, consider expressing your disappointment with a modest donation to mikeroweWORKS. Our work ethic scholarship is making a real difference, and your money will be well spent, I promise. The donate button is big and red and hard to miss, at mikeroweworks.org Iโ€™d love to chat but Iโ€™ve gotta pull a rat out of my toiletโ€ฆ

Mark Carney is echoing Nazi-style blood libels. Please share to expose him! He should resign. t.co/H62DNbCz4g While completely ignoring Iranโ€™s cluster bombs that turned Jerusalem into a deadly minefield, Mark Carney is now leading a disgusting Nazi-style smear campaign against Israel. He accuses the Jewish state of preventing Christian freedom of worship, all because Israeli authorities had the audacity to protect worshippers and secure impact sites from unexploded munitions. This is pure blood libel dressed up as diplomacy, designed to satisfy his Muslim voter base. Mark Carney is unfit for office. He should resign immediately.

I donโ€™t know President Michael Kotlikoff personally, but one can only imagine: if university presidents over the past two and a half years had responded with similar moral clarity, far fewer Jewish students would have been terrorized and abused on their campuses. Our community owes President Michael Kotlikoff a real debt of gratitude.

Not. A. Fucking. Word. The barbarians of the Khamenei regime didnโ€™t just kill a boy yesterday...they publicly hanged a 19-year-old prodigy, Saleh Mohammadi, bronze medalist on Iranโ€™s national wrestling team, a rising star who bled for glory on the mat and dared to bleed for freedom in the streets of Januaryโ€™s protests. They dragged him to Qom Central Prison, strapped the noose around that young neck, and dropped the floor while the world watched. โ€œEnmity against God,โ€ they called it...torture-extracted confessions from show trials that would shame the Inquisition. This wasnโ€™t execution; this was ritual slaughter, medieval psychopathy dressed in clerical robes, the regimeโ€™s pathology laid bare: terrified of its own vitality, it devours its strongest sons to instill fear in the herd. And the Western Left? Those pathological frauds, those soulless architects of selective outrage? Not. A. Fucking. Word. Where are the campus screamers who torch cities over โ€œgenocideโ€ when a Hamas butcher stubs his toe? Where are the blue-check โ€œhuman rightsโ€ clerics who flood timelines with keffiyeh cosplay and crocodile tears for every narrative that flatters their ideological masturbation? Crickets. Deafening, gut-wrenching silence. Because this atrocity doesnโ€™t fit their Freudian script: the oppressor isnโ€™t the white West or Israel...itโ€™s their beloved โ€œresistanceโ€ incarnate, a theocratic death cult that aligns perfectly with their inverted morality. Nietzsche warned us: Resentment poisons the soul until evil becomes virtue and strength becomes sin. The Left didnโ€™t just look away; they enabled it with their philosophical cowardice, their postmodern relativism that excuses barbarism as โ€œcultural,โ€ their Marxist pathology that sees only power dynamics when it serves the tribe. This is the necrotic core of progressive hypocrisy exposed: they donโ€™t mourn the hanged athlete because mourning him would require admitting their โ€œalliesโ€ are the real monsters. They donโ€™t rage because rage would shatter the fragile edifice of their self-deception. They are not compassionate...they are complicit cowards, psychological vampires who feed on manufactured victims while real ones swing from ropes. Saleh Mohammadiโ€™s blood is on their hands too, every silent one of them. The regimeโ€™s rope is physical; the Leftโ€™s silence is the noose they tighten around truth itself. Fuck their performative piety. Fuck their selective tears. History will record this not just as Iranian savagery, but as the Westโ€™s moral suicide...willingly, gleefully, one hanged wrestler at a time. ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ

Your Harvard/MassGen salary is several MILLION dollars per year. Yet you imply financial hardship by stating it took 7 years to pay off a modest apartment in Beirut (where the cost of RE and living are super low)?! And thenโ€ฆwoe is me, Israel destroyed it? Spare us. Your antisemitism is showing with zero mention of Hezbollah in the building - the only reason it would have been destroyed at all. Blame your friends and neighbors, not Israel.

Katharine Hepburn, in her own words: "Once, when I was a teenager, my father and I were standing in line to buy tickets for the circus. Finally, there was only one family between us and the ticket counter. That family made a lasting impression on me. There were eight children, all under the age of 12. From the way they were dressed, you could tell they didnโ€™t have much money, but their clothes were clean, very clean. The children were well-behaved, standing in pairs behind their parents, holding hands. They were so excited about the clowns, the animals, and all the acts they would see that night. From their excitement, you could tell they had never been to a circus before. It was going to be a highlight of their lives. The father and mother stood proudly at the front of their little group. The mother was holding her husbandโ€™s hand, looking at him as if to say, 'Youโ€™re my knight in shining armor.' He was smiling, enjoying seeing his family happy. The ticket lady asked how many tickets he wanted, and he proudly responded, 'I want eight childrenโ€™s tickets and two adult tickets.' Then she announced the price. The wife let go of her husbandโ€™s hand, her head dropped, and the manโ€™s lip began to quiver. He leaned in closer and asked, 'How much did you say?' The ticket lady repeated the price. He didnโ€™t have enough money. How was he supposed to turn around and tell his eight kids that he couldnโ€™t afford to take them to the circus? Seeing what was happening, my dad reached into his pocket, pulled out a $20 bill, and dropped it on the ground. We werenโ€™t rich by any means. My father bent down, picked up the $20 bill, tapped the man on the shoulder, and said, 'Excuse me, sir, this fell out of your pocket.' The man understood what was happening. He wasnโ€™t being handed charity, but he gratefully accepted the help in his desperate, heartbreaking, and embarrassing situation. He looked straight into my fatherโ€™s eyes, took my dadโ€™s hand in both of his, squeezed the bill tightly, and with trembling lips and a tear streaming down his cheek, he replied, 'Thank you, sir. This really means so much to me and my family.' My father and I went back to our car and drove home. The $20 my dad gave away was what we had planned to use for our own tickets. Although we didnโ€™t see the circus that night, we felt a joy inside us that was far greater than seeing the circus. That day, I learned the true value of giving. The Giver is greater than the Receiver. If you want to be great, greater than life itself, learn to give. Love has nothing to do with what you expect to get, only with what you expect to giveโ€”everything. The importance of giving and blessing others cannot be overstated because there is always joy in giving. Learn to make someone happy through acts of giving." ~Katharine Hepburn

Truth Bombs ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ’ฃ ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅFIRE ALERT IN THE SENATE! Senator John Kennedy didnโ€™t just speakโ€”he detonated truth bombs across the chamber. The debate was draggingโ€ฆ until he stood, ice in his veins, and said: โ€œIโ€™m tired of people who keep insulting America.โ€ Eleven words. Silence so thick it could choke. Then he zeroed in on Ilhan Omar: โ€œEspecially those who came here fleeing danger, built fortunes on our freedom, then spit on the flag that saved themโ€”while cashing $174k salaries and jetting overseas to bash us.โ€ The room erupted. Omarโ€™s face blazed crimson. Rashida Tlaib shouted โ€œPOINT OF ORDERโ€”RACIST!โ€ Phones dropped. Gavels froze. Kennedy? Unshaken. โ€œDarlinโ€™, if you hate this country, Deltaโ€™s got a one-way ticket waiting. Love itโ€”or leave it. Patriotism isnโ€™t hate. Itโ€™s gratitude.โ€ C-SPAN surged. Social feeds exploded. His job (funded by his communist backers) is to undermine New York City. That conclusion is hard to avoid when you look at his hiring decisions, his initial tax plan, his proposed budget, and his repeated stances against America and the values we stand for. He even initially refused to condemn the terrorists who threw an advanced homemade bomb at NYPD officers. Itโ€™s time to push back. We cannot allow this kind of leadership to ruin financial capital of the world. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
