@hotmesshomeschl The sesame oil is good. The Organic bread and butter pickles are excellent. Some things they always have, others are seasonal. Their cheese selection is decent: French brie, Roquefort, Swiss Gruyère etc at good $. Bakery items are hit or miss. Butter, sour cream is good $.

@hotmesshomeschl Spend time and look closely at a lot of the condiments, oils, vinegars, etc. They are generally very high quality at a good price. For example, mandarin oranges from Spain (not China), authentic Dijon mustard from Dijon, aged balsamic well priced, canned wild Alaskan salmon.

I’m going to Trader Joe’s for the first time this next week. What are your favs? What do I need? It has to make the 3ish hour drive home in a cooler.

@Half_A_Pond Just remember that volts x amps = watts. Your frig and freeze are both 120 volt (unless it is commercial walk-in) Look up how many amps your units pull. (find manual online) Usually a freezer or frig will pull 5-6 amps but could pull as many as 10-11 on start up…..

Can anyone smarter than me tell me if one of these Harbor Freight inverter generators will power one refrigerator or freezer at a time? Might need to make a run 😬

At approximately 12:15 pm this afternoon two OCFA Handcrew members were critically injured fighting the #SilveradoFire. Aged 26 and 31, both are covered in second and third degree burns and are currently intibated. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
