Those who say it will be fine long term don’t realize all-in share holders who bought 5 years ago over $470 have had zero gains and haven’t been able to accomplish any of the financial and personal plans they basically were promised they would if they held the stock for a few years. A merger with SpaceX and the funding required for terafab will keep Tesla down another 5 years or more. Elon can wait 30 years for Tesla to go up, but not yhe shareholders.

Yes, plus they are investing heavily in energy production expansion and local cities are fighting off data centers left and right-- major "not in my back yard" going on. One was stopped 10 miles from me-- multiple billions of dollars invested in the area and thousands of job. Mostly based off of misinformation btw.

Prediction: China will win the AI race because it will dominate the demand side. Large swathes of the US economy will resist AI deployment - governments, education, health care, law, ports and railways, etc. High risk Democrats win next two elections and tank US AI development. Plus China has more electricity generation. I don’t see how Elon saves America from shooting itself in the foot.

Line 2 is purpose-built to expand overall production capacity and incorporates key enhancements, including a single-piece flow configuration, increased process redundancy,  and advanced pick-and-place gantry systems to drive faster cycle times and improved efficiency. These design improvements, along with the Thorn Hill building layout, are expected to translate into meaningful gains: 1. Raw material travel reduced from approximately 2.09 miles to 0.29 miles —86% reduction 2. Line length reduced from approximately 478 ft (Line 1) to 288 ft (Line 2) — 40% reduction Next stop: installation at the Eos Thorn Hill facility.
