On June 25 and 26, Base mainnet experienced two block production outages, both caused by the same underlying bug in the block builder logic. We’ve identified and fixed the root cause, and have communicated the post mortem to OP chains as feedback. All funds were safe throughout. Full post-mortem: blog.base.dev/postmortem-jun…

With the recent network stability issues, we're pushing back the B20 Activation Registry mainnet enablement to ensure a smooth rollout. Sepolia and Vibenet remain on track. We'll share a revised date shortly.

Tokenized stocks are a win for everyone. For people that already hold stocks, it makes them more useful - much faster to send, trade 24/7, etc. But there are also lots of people in the world that don’t have easy access to US stocks. In a lot of countries, wealthy people may be able to get a brokerage, but ~4B people in the world don’t have ways to access US investments, so they’re stuck holding cash and low quality investments. Tokenized stocks will change this by opening up the best markets to the world.
