@cjng41 He’s 24th in the league for scoring amongst 31 teams (minimum 20 games played). I think he’s doing just fine for a rookie. Only 1 player in the league averaging over 30ppg. There have been many rotation players that come from the G league averaging less then 30ppg

For a team that needs all the bucket getters it can find, playing Lawson makes sense (especially with Quickley out). Raptors still say they're keeping the faith with Gradey Dick, but this is going to be a crucial summer for him if he wants to stick in the NBA.

@RaptorsShaq Hopefully saying the same thing about IQ after a couple more games. If Scottie can make us better at PG, then you can add the defense in jakobe, and IQ can help boost the bench as a 6th man

@WalderSports I don't think it's an effort issue. I think we're where we are at because of the high effort, that is quite consistent. But you're not gonna be able to beat better teams, with superstar players, from high effort. We need a superstar, or at least 1 more Allstar maybe

This season is still a success, regardless of how it ultimately concludes. But we're getting a better gauge of this roster's ceiling, and it's not mind-blowing. The effort has to improve. They can't fizzle out against quality competition. The depth isn't where it needs to be.

The current makeup of the Toronto Raptors feels like it's on a trajectory similar to the Chicago Bulls' over the last four years. They'll hover around the .500 mark, even reaching 45-48 wins. But they're in the middle. No high upside. Not as constructed. They're good. Just good.

@KCSportsNetwork One guy gets separation & has better RAC ability, the other guy has better hands. I'll take the guy that can get open & RAC all day in Lemon, and he still has very good catch ability, just that Tate is elite in that one area.
