Godswill Oyor, a Nigerian pastor and self-described wealth management expert, was behind a Ponzi scheme known as Zedekiah Money Train (also operated under Hyfex. In 2022, he promoted it heavily on Facebook and WhatsApp groups, promising investors high, low-risk returns such as 21% interest in 90 days or 6% monthly through “packages” like auto-cruise, real estate (estates in Enugu and Ibadan), forex, agriculture, and securities He targeted retirees, workers, and faith-based followers, building trust by presenting himself as a clergyman and expert. Early investors sometimes received payouts (classic Ponzi tactic), but the scheme collapsed by mid-to-late 2022. Oyor allegedly disappeared with investors’ funds, ignoring calls, emails, and messages. Victims (including retirees who lost millions of naira, e.g., N7m, N13.6m, or N1m each) reported being ghosted after he vacated his office and changed contact details. He was briefly arrested in December 2022 following complaints (one investor lost N100m and tracked him), but he faced no major repercussions and by 2024 was continuing his pastoral work as a “kingdom man” with gospel content online. It caused widespread losses (one report mentions “1 million+ individual losses,” though exact totals are unclear). Many Nigerians lost life savings, and as of the latest reports, affected investors have not recovered their money till today.

@Officially_Kriz 2. It is obvious you were paid to push this narrative, but what is even more disappointing is that you failed to carry out any form of due diligence before rushing to Twitter to spread misinformation.

@Officially_Kriz Just a few points that reveal the kind of person you are: 1. You do not know Pastor Godswill Oyor, not his past, not his present, and certainly not his future. Yet, you have chosen to make bold accusations about someone you clearly know nothing about.

Media Framing of Crime Along Ethnic Lines: Divisive. As an Igbo man, I have endured stereotypes, judgment, and labelling solely based on my ethnic origins. This is not an isolated Igbo experience. Most Nigerians have, at some point, been reduced to their ethnicity rather than recognised for their true character. I understand the pain of the ordinary Fulani man today, often unfairly judged by the actions of criminals he does not support, has never met, and who are not representative of his people. Even in America, such unjust labelling fueled the civil rights movement and prompted Martin Luther King Jr. to declare that people should be judged by the content of their character, not the colour of their skin. Every Nigerian ethnic group is known for its unique traditions, occupations, skills, and strengths. Crime, however, has no ethnicity. A thief is a thief. A terrorist is a terrorist. A kidnapper is a kidnapper. They are bad actors, not representatives of any people. They must be identified, arrested, and punished according to the law. We must decisively abandon the dangerous practice of blaming entire ethnic groups for the actions of a few criminals. It is unjust, it breeds hatred, and it damages our national unity. Let us proudly celebrate our diverse cultures, talents, and contributions, rather than falling prey to stereotypes and prejudices that politicians and divisive interests exploit for their gain. A new Nigeria must emerge—one where no citizen is condemned because of tribe, religion, or birthplace. We can cherish our cultural roots while standing united by justice, mutual respect, and hope for a better future. We are capable of this. A new Nigeria is within our reach. -PO

Why does the President hardly ever address the nation despite the relentless insurgency, kidnappings, and insecurity that Nigerians face every day? People are being killed. Children are being abducted. Communities are living in fear. In many countries, leaders speak directly to their citizens during moments of crisis to reassure them, explain actions being taken, and show that they understand the pain of the people. The silence is becoming as disturbing as the insecurity itself. Are Nigerians not human beings?

@BrotherPossible When you receive salvation as a result of fear (to be saved from hell), it might not transform you… but when the basis of salvation was born from your love for God, it transforms you… see what’s he saying from this end and I guess you will understand his view

Anakogheri. What is salvation all about? Before anything else, it's ensuring that man through Christ finds eternal life in heaven. We're saved first from damnation and the wrath to come, eternal separation from God before anything else. At the very beginning the words are, "shall not perish." You can't remove what cannot be removed.
Apostle Harrison Ayintete@Preacherrapper

I have said this a million times, if we remove ‘MAKING HEAVEN’ from the vocabulary of the church, most Christians have no real desire to live Holy lives. The moment we tell people that they are eternally saved, God loves them unconditionally, the next thing they will say is ‘oh so I can go ahead and fornicate, I can go ahead and kill people’. You can see that Christianity has not truly transformed people. They are simply living in fear of hell or trying to make heaven! This is the reality! Like Apostle Lazarus said, once you remove heaven or hell from the conversation, the average Christian has no purpose for Christianity or existence! God has given us His Spirit when we believed in Christ, He has given us His Spirit forever!! We are called to manifest this heaven on earth and we will be rewarded for representing the Lord in heaven but we have not been called to make heaven or strife for same! “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” Philippians 3:20-21 KJV The word ‘conversation’ is ‘polituemia’ which is citizenship! This ‘making heaven’ doctrine has produced the most hypocritical Christians ever! Self-righteous Christians who judge others for sinning differently. Our Christianity is fueled by FEAR! FEAR OF MISSING HEAVEN! FEAR OF MISSING RAPTURE! Yet God has not given us the Spirit of fear!! Again, whatever you manifest after discovering that you are eternally saved in Christ and you are forever sealed with His Spirit, is the true measure of your spiritual growth and love for God! Anyone can give, pray, fast, live holy etc., because they fear going to hell, the real spiritual growth is doing all those things because we are in the Spirit and we are God’s children! This is why legalistic Christians are often so wicked, slanderous, evil and manipulative. Their hearts are not changed, they only perform so they can make heaven! The body of Christ will still discover that we cannot keep going christianity promoted by fear! More biblically sound people are rising up! Meanwhile, it takes certain open mindedness and maturity to understand Apostle Lazarus and his podcast, clearly, he is not affirming the views of everyone who comes on the podcast, rather he is being a cerebral conversationalist who is open to opposing views and that takes a certain level of intellectual maturity to do. Blessed
