@gautam_adani A powerful reminder that true leadership is rooted in values.
Your visit to Ayodhya on such a sacred occasion beautifully reflects faith, humility, and a deep connection to India’s cultural soul.

@INCIndia Pappu keeps targeting Modi and Adani because he has nothing positive to show.
Soros-funded hate is all that’s left in their playbook now.

@yadavakhilesh Akhilesh ji, please don’t confuse political narrative with bankruptcy law.
This was not a government tender where “favorite” wins. This was an IBC resolution decided by creditors.

Vedanta is not a victim... In fact, It is the biggest beneficiary of the system.
Anil Agarwal is posting Bhagavad Gita shlokas and trying to make this look like a story of injustice. But if you look at the facts, the message is very clear:
👉 Vedanta is not fighting the system. Vedanta has grown because of the system.
And now that the same system has not gone in its favor, it is suddenly being called unfair.
👉 Vedanta is not some company standing outside power and influence... In FY2025 alone, the group reportedly donated ₹97 crore to the BJP, and its wider contributions through electoral bonds are estimated at around ₹300 crore.
So when Anil Agarwal now talks as if Vedanta has been wronged by the establishment, the claim sounds hollow from the start.
Vedanta rose through political decisions... and this relationship with power did not begin yesterday.
📌 *During the Vajpayee-era disinvestment push, Vedanta was among the biggest winners.*
👉 In 2001, 51% of BALCO and management control were handed over to Sterlite/Vedanta for around ₹551 crore.
That deal triggered major controversy, worker protests, long strikes, and serious questions over undervaluation. A lot of people believed a valuable national asset was sold too cheaply. But despite the backlash, the deal stayed... and Vedanta benefited.
👉 Then came Hindustan Zinc.
Vedanta first got a 26% stake with management control, and over time it tightened its grip until it effectively controlled one of India’s most profitable mining businesses.
Today, Hindustan Zinc is a cash machine.
*📌 So let’s be honest:*
Vedanta built huge wealth only through state policy, privatization, and institutional decisions... That is the reality.
👉 And now the same Vedanta is crying foul over Jaypee deal... This is where the hypocrisy becomes obvious.
*📌 Now let's understand the Jaypee case...*
Vedanta’s entire public line is: “We offered more, so we should have won.”
But the Jaypee insolvency process was not a highest-bidder-wins auction.
Under IBC, lenders do not simply pick the biggest number on paper. They look at which plan gives them better recovery, more upfront cash, faster payment, and stronger execution certainty.
👉 And that is exactly why lenders backed Adani’s plan.
Adani’s offer gave creditors stronger upfront recovery and a shorter execution timeline. Vedanta’s plan may have had a bigger headline number, but it came with slower payouts and weaker certainty. For lenders, that is not automatically a better deal.
That is why the Committee of Creditors voted 93.81% in favour of Adani’s plan... And that number matters.
👉 So let’s call this what it is:
Vedanta is not exposing some broken system... Vedanta is simply unable to digest the fact that this time, the system did not favour it.
*Now the final truth...*
For years, Vedanta happily benefited from privatization, policy openings, state decisions, and political proximity.
But the moment one major asset does not go its way, suddenly we are hearing about “dharma,” “fairness,” and “system failure.”
> Vedanta was fine with the system when it helped Vedanta grow.
> Now that the same system has gone another way, it is suddenly being questioned.
*That is the real story.*

@kedianomics @AnilAgarwal_Ved Adani Group’s bid was built on clarity and execution... ₹6,000 crore upfront, a tight 2-year payout, and full process compliance.
With a higher evaluation score, the outcome looks far less controversial.

@AnilAgarwal_Ved Any bids for any auctions with different payment plans by all different bidders should be compared by computing the NPV of all bids and highest NPV bidder is fair to be given the same. Hope your bid had the highest NPV of all bidders?

This morning, I was reading Chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita. One thought stayed with me. “Have courage. Stay humble. Do your duty without attachment.” Life tested this.
Some years ago, Shri Jaiprakash Gaur, who built Jaypee Group, came to meet me in London. He had built an empire over his lifetime with hard work and vision. He reached out more than once. He wrote to me. His only wish was simple that what he had built should go into safe hands and be taken forward with the right intent. He even wrote me letters in Hindi, in his own words, expressing his trust. At that time, we could not proceed.
Recently, the asset went into a public auction by CoC in the IBC process. Many strong bidders participated. Suddenly, the sentiment and wishes of Jaiprakash Gaur ji came rushing back to me. One by one, everyone dropped out of the bidding. Finally, we were declared the highest bidder publicly.
It was a transparent process. We were informed in writing that we had won. But life is never so simple. After some days, the decision was changed. Don’t want to go into the details. That is for the right forum. But I want to share something from my heart.
We have no attachment to this asset. If it comes, it is God’s grace. If it goes, that is also his wish. But one thing we believe strongly. When something is promised in dharma, it should not be taken back. In our scriptures also, we see this again and again. Truth, commitment, and fairness are above everything.
So, what should one do? Gita gives a simple answer - do your duty, with courage, but without anger or attachment. That is what we will do. We will place the facts in the right way. We will follow the right path.
Rest, I leave to God.
