Mark & I are settling down for another night beside Laura’s bed, waking at every whimper & not knowing if she’ll still be with us in the morning. It’s been 11 days now without food or water & every day we think she can’t get any more poorly, but she does. This is so brutal

Every day is a little harder now. Laura’s basically non verbal & can no longer walk . A few months ago she applied to do a masters, now she can’t do anything for herself. It’s tough. This disease is a bastard. #Glioblastoma #GBM @ourbrainbank @BrainTumourOrg @braintumourrsch

Still in hospital however a scan this week sadly showed more cancer spread in my bowel. A decision will be made at the wkend if I should move to the hospice as unfortunately surgery is not an option. Feeling sad but calm with the situation. Thank you for your ♥️. #bebrave #cancer

Why can’t we as a nation appreciate how wonderful our nhs staff do. In the line of fire constantly, lack of funding so doing the best they can whilst the gove underpay them & turn the country against them, their leaving the profession due to how bad they get it, show them some ❤️

Ahhh emotional as hell. Just struggling. And I just feel sad. I am going to take some time for myself and enjoy the Christmas break. And in the new year I’m going to speak to my Gp again, and see what can be done. I love you all so much. Your friendship means so much to me. 🥰

I have 3 consultants for various cancers. One that knew me best for 20 years retired so felt a bit shaky without him. Consultant saw me face to face as he didn't want me to be worrying. He isnt concerned.Feel well and calm

Does anybody know if @Tor87 lived with her parents? I became friendly with her via Twitter and miss her a lot. Would like to send a note to her parents. I have her address but not sure if it would reach them via this. Thanks
