After crying from relief that cancer hasn’t returned, I learned: 1. My immunotherapy is a form of chemo. 2. Few people tolerate it as well as I have. 💙By sharing this info, the nurse practitioner allows me to give myself more grace for how hard life still is. #fuckcancer 💙💙💙

Grief is tough at Christmas but New Year feels especially painful. It’s another year that Laura doesn’t get to see - now I’ll have to say ‘my daughter died 3 years ago’ but to me it feels like just yesterday. Some people might think I’d be over her loss by now 1/3

So we got up extremely early & popped out to Tesco & then M& S so I’m pleased to report that all the provisions for Christmas have been purchased & later today our son & his partner arrive for a few nights. Now to relax & enjoy the festive period. Happy Christmas everyone 🎄🎅🥂

Out out tonight with my incredible friends who have seen me through chemo surgery and radiotherapy this year It was one year ago today that I received my lobular breast cancer diagnosis but tonight we celebrated the fact that I am currently cancer free
