I don't really talk about it ever but I was effectively raised by a single mum who at times didn't have a penny to her name, we would sometimes have to get our food from the bins and we hopped about a bit in the council housing system. Alongside the outstanding resilience and love from my mum, the thing that gave me hope for the future was music, I can't really say why, but it felt like as long as I was writing music I had a path ahead of me and I just had to keep walking it. It's on that path that I've met the most amazing people and lifelong friends, each of us carrying our own weight but all of us walking side by side towards the music. I don't have a point really, I just think about this a lot, us kids from broken homes in the midlands that grew up to make the world dance, I'm really proud of us and I'm proud of every one of you who keeps stepping forwards on the path, I'm looking forward to meeting you sometime.
